Every summer, my friends and I do an annual golf/river trip in Texas. We are all 40 years old and there are 16 people in our group. This was our first time staying in Hunt, and this place was amazing. The house and guest house slept everyone comfortably and we were able to walk right now to the river. The outdoor patio is top notch and we spent 90% of our time here watching sports and grilling out. We will definitely return!

My husband and I recently sold our beach home of 8 years and we’re looking to take our group of 18 (3 adult children and their spouses and 10 grandchildren ages 5-16) for a change of scenery this year. This property was exactly what we wanted! The home and its adjacent lodge comfortably fit our group, the property made it great for us to be outdoors, and the outdoor pavilion allowed us to cheer on our favorite football team. A bonus was that 4 of my granddaughters are Camp Mystic campers and my daughter in law arranged for us to spend an afternoon enjoying the camp.
John, the owner, went above and beyond by delivering a new cable box to the home on Thanksgiving morning because the tv wasn’t working. Overall a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back!

From the time we walked into the house, we were beyond impressed! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Everything was clean and fresh. It was so relaxing to be there and accommodations were wonderful. We loved it!

The house is huge and it needs a little bit more cleaning on the outside areas, the ac in the máster BR doesn’t work properly and it has a weird smell on the whole house. But overall we enjoyed our stayed and loved the town we’ll be back for sure.
