The pictures don’t do it justice. Truly a beautiful location! Close to very nice beaches and harbor. Every staff member was helpful and friendly. Security was tight and we felt very safe. Communications with the owner was fantastic. Everyone did everything they could to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this place if staying in Kona. We will definitely be back!

The condo has an amazing view and the location near the pool and bbq was convenient. The condo itself is outdated and the furniture is atrocious. The beds are easily 20 years old. The two twin beds are hard as rocks. There was black mold in the hallway shower when we arrived and the toaster almost caught on fire the first morning we were there. Clearly it was filthy and smoked up the whole condo. It was stinky for hours in there even with the doors open. Previous guest must have tried to cook shrimp in it or something. LolWe love the area and the complex just not the condo itself. Needs upgrades bad. Couch should have been sent to landfill 20 years ago it's that bad.

We were very happy with this accommodation. We have stayed in Kona many times and this was in our top 10. The unit was very spacious, had good ocean views for sunsets, and overlooked the pool. The complex was nicely manicured and the staff were friendly. The host was prompt in responding to any questions that came up. This place was well stocked with essentials as well as beach gear, chairs, cooker, snorkel equipment etc. we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home and incredibly clean. The location is perfect. The home was much larger than expected so our family of five (2 adults and 3 under 5) had more than enough space. The location to the pool and beach area were a huge plus. The property manager was super helpful and responsive. Everything was excellent and I highly recommend.

Thank you for an absolutely wonderful time! The view from the lanai and the nearby Ocean Pool was amazing! We enjoyed watching ocean kayakers each morning over breakfast and sunsets from our lanai each evening. Everything we needed was provided. Very comfortable accommodations. Perfect location for touring the island. Luxurious vacation setting at a reasonable rate.

Would possibly stay again just due to the location! Great area and away from the crowds of Ali’i drive yet close enough when we wanted to go get dinner, etc. Condo is desperately in need of some upgrades, decor and furniture is very dated and falling apart. Couch creaked so bad when we sat on it I thought it was going to break. Patio furniture also has seen much better days. Beds were very old, uncomfortable mattresses so didn’t get great sleep. Selling points are location and the view is beautiful to wake up to. Was clean enough, but as with many vrbo’s, paying a large cleaning fee and still expecting renters to do dishes, start laundry, strip beds and take trash out before we leave is questionable.

This place was awesome, we had such a wonderful view. We enjoyed our stay here very much. I would love to come back some day soon. The only thing I can suggest is if you come to stay at the condos. You check them out before you go to the store. We bought a lot of things that were duplicated in the refrigerator you're condiments, mustard, ketchup, etc. A lot of people leave things and it wouldn't be necessary to buy more. Who's over there? Enjoy your day.

Very clean and well-maintained property. Host was very accommodating for us when we had to change the dates due to an emergency surgery. Resort is close to many restaurants. Unfortunately, the ocean pool outside the unit was down for maintenance and the upstairs was being renovated so it was a little noisy from both projects but that is outside the host's control. We definitely appreciated having A/C as it was quite warm & humid while we were there - well worth paying extra for. Would seriously consider renting again in the future.

The condo location is perfect for us, right by the Ocean Pool. The unit was very well equipped with good kitchen equipment, including blender and coffee grinder and lots of silverware. And they had quite a number of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, etc. Great trip!

This condo was perfect for our family of four during our first visit to the Big Island! It is well stocked and equipped with everything needed in the kitchen as well as beach towels, beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The ocean pool, one of three on the property is steps away. We particularly enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai while listening to the waves crash against the shore, and daily sunsets on the lanai were breathtaking.

This was our 2nd trip to The Big Island and both times we stayed in 2601! The sunsets were amazing and access to the Ocean Side pool was convenient. This condo was fully equipped and the added bonus of AC was appreciated. We will return to the Big Island and stay in this condo again! Great condo for a family!

Great condo for a family!

We stayed here for 4 nights in June and had a great stay! There were 2 adults and 1 child in our party and we had plenty of space. The condo was very clean upon arrival and we did opt to rent the AC units which definitely kept the unit cool when we needed it! We didn't use the kitchen a ton but it is a very well furnished kitchen. My favorite two things about this unit: the lanai and the proximity to the pool. The lanai was pretty big and looked out onto the pool and ocean. There was a table and chairs so eating al fresco was easy. We were also pleasantly surprised to find some beach chairs in the outdoor closet on the lanai. The unit is close to a grocery store and a couple of eating options. Downtown Kailua Kona is a 15 minute drive away where there are lot of restaurants and stores. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it! Mahalo!

The accommodations and everyone associated with the condo do everything to make your stay a pleasant unforgettable experience. This condo was awesome. Loved being able to hear and see the ocean from the patio. Being right by the pool was the best part according to our 9 year old. We could take a quick swim at the end of our day. We watched the sun set every night from right off the pool deck. The condo had everything we needed for the week. There was a few condiments in the fridge, so check that before you go to the store. The shopping center right up the road was perfect for groceries, take out and anything we needed. We will definitely keep this one in mind for our next trip.

Great location. WE faced the ocean pool and the breaking waves. With a beautiful sunset very night!!. Had plenty of cooking utinsils, pots and pans and spices. Spacious rooms. It is a bit dated, but comfortable and we were only there in the evenings. Met some of the neighbors who come back every year so had a fun time at the pool and barbeque. My husband golfed many times at the Kona Golf Club which is quite nice and less than a mile down the road. And I did some snorkeling with Sea Quest which I could walk to. Next to the Outrigger. You do have to drive to the beaches and many are not great swimming beaches of course because of the lava but doable. Would stay here again

We stay here over Christmas 2021 and New Year's 2022, four adults and one kid. The location is great. It's overlooking the pool and ocean. Inside the condo is clean and had everything we needed. Even had beach chairs and a small cooler. There is also fins and snorkels, but we brought our own. The beds are comfy and there's plenty of room for all of us. Our 8yo slept on the couch and he was very comfortable too. We all really like the condo complex. We play tennis as well. It's walking distance to Keauhou Bay like to swim you can swim there. Snorkeling there is best in the morning. You can also walk to outrigger for breakfast. Also walk to the supermarket. Also close to the golf club which we played around. Great location and amenities. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Joe and Yoshihiro for a wonderful stay.

We've stayed at Kanaloa at Kona Condos 7 times and twice in this condo. We absolutely love the complex and this condo especially. The condo is fully stocked, very clean and in a wonderful location in the complex. The staff are so friendly and helpful and especially appreciate the groundskeepers and housekeeping. If you're not up for the beach there are 3 pools on the property. We love the neighborhood and it's an easy drive down Ali'i to all the shops and great restaurants. We can't wait to return!

We took quite a while to search and find the right place for our second stay on the big island and we think we found a beauty. Last time here we stayed in a resort further up north which was nice but here we felt that it was “our place”. Waking up to a great view of the ocean with whales swimming by was awesome, I’m watching some as I write this! We went swimming with the manta rays, played golf at Kona Country club right next door and downtown is a short drive away. Comfy beds, nice and quiet, well stocked kitchen and laundry appliances we wouldn’t hesitate to come back, thank you 😊 Mike and Jenny, Sydney.

Condo 2601 haas a lovely ocean view & wonderful Lanai for enjoying your morning coffee as you watch whales spout during the winter months. The condo was very clean, with an adequately stocked kitchen as well as beach towels, chairs & umbrellas. It has a full sized washer & dryer. It is in a gated well maintained complex. It is close to a grocery store & a nice farmers market and with easy access to all the big island offers.

This is a wonderful condo - very nicely decorated and with a fabulous Lanai that looks right out onto the ocean (across the pool). We watched the waves and the whales just sitting and relaxing on the Lanai and walked one building over to take incredible sunset pictures.... The air conditioning in each room is well worth the charge and we were very grateful to have it (and you can turn each room on and off separately to conserve energy), as even when it was nice out in December we found it a bit warm and muggy overnight, so that's the only time we really used it. The kitchen has literally everything you could need to cook with, including things like a rice cooker and various oils and spices, so convenient not to have to buy every little thing and we cooked most nights on the BBQ by the pool. There were no problems with the unit at all while we were there but we had phone numbers so we could easily reach someone if there was an issue. Our adult kid found the twin beds in the guest room overly hard and uncomfortable and had to rig up something to try to soften the sleeping area up a bit (ended up sleeping on the comfy couch in the living room instead), but the bed in the master bedroom was heavenly and both bathrooms were just incredible. I felt like we were in a luxury resort for a much better cost and with a kitchen to boot! Kanaloa is quite nice, though I had forgotten that it is essentially a half hour drive if you want to be "in town" for dinner or anything as it is rather far south... - however it IS super close to one of the harbors and big hotels and some great beaches, so we just did everything out of there... There's a grocery store and great restaurants just up the hill so it is a very convenient location overall and a very nice complex with three pools, tennis courts,etc. I highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay again next time I am on the Big Island - though I might consider buying a foam mattress pad from Walmart if I had adults staying in the second room.....

This was a great condo - exactly as pictured with a great view and very close to the ocean - we watched whales from the Lanai and only had to step outside to see great sunsets. The pool and BBQ are very close also and there are many things to do nearby. The condo is very well furnished and decorated and the bed in the master bedroom is so comfy and the bathrooms are just amazing! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and there's tons of pool toys/beach chairs/a cooler, even snorkeling equipment all in the closet. All in all I would highly recommend staying here - super easy and really a very high end experience, I would definitely stay again.

The condo was very nice and clean. It had a lot of kitchen items that we used to cook. It was so nice that were was beach chairs and umbrella that we used at the beach. Also a cooler. The refrigerator had ice maker which was nice. Dishwasher made is nice to enjoy outside as much as possible. The king size bed in the master was nice but the twin beds were hard. We had two adults that were sleeping on them and there was complaints that they were hard and they had hard time sleeping on them. I would recommend this condo because the pool was close and the ocean views were so relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay in unit 2601 at Kanaloa at Kona. Views are spectacular and unit was clean. Needs updated living room furniture and larger TV in all rooms. We had 2 mice, 1 in kitchen sink and 1 dead in guest bedroom. Ceiling fans should be updated also.
