Our authentic log home combines the warmth and character of a mountain lodge with the beauty of a waterfront retreat. Large windows throughout the home showcase the lake, and the open living areas make it easy for everyone to gather together.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare everything from quick breakfasts to holiday meals. Enjoy dinner inside or dine outdoors while overlooking the lake.
Comfortable bedrooms provide a peaceful place to recharge after a full day on the water.

Start your morning on the deck with coffee and lake views. Swim from the dock, launch the kayaks, spend the afternoon cruising the main lake, or simply relax with a book by the water.

This is a superlative lakefront property. Lake Gaston was new for our family, and it did not disappoint. What was special about this home was the pine forest surrounding it on two sides, which included a number of bird species. That gave us a chance to introduce bird-watching to the kiddos from the covered porch right off the living room. All the adults spent a lot of time in the kitchen because it was so well stocked with everything you needed for breakfast, lunch, cocktails, dinner, and late into the night sometimes. Kudos from all ten of us and we're so grateful they are sharing their home.

Our family has stayed in many vacation homes over the years, and this was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that the owners have poured their hearts into this property. Every single detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the beautifully updated, spotless home, to all of the little touches that made our stay so comfortable. It truly felt more like staying at a private resort than a rental home. The house was beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. We never found ourselves saying, “I wish they had…” because they already thought of it. The bottom floor alone, kept our 3 boys busy for 6 days!!The waterfront amenities were incredible. Whether you enjoy relaxing by the water or taking advantage of all the water sports and outdoor activities, this property has it all. There was something for every member of our family, and we made memories we’ll never forget.The owner was exceptional, kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had an amazing vacation. That level of hospitality is rare and made all the difference. If you’re considering booking this home, don’t hesitate. This is the kind of place you start planning your next visit before you’ve even packed to leave. We can’t recommend it highly enough and hope to return again someday!
