Welcome to "Downton" Asbury, a comfortable, family-friendly home tucked into Asbury Park's walkable waterfront district, where you're 3-7 minutes on foot from The Stone Pony, The Wonder Bar, Asbury Lanes, the Empress Hotel's famous Tea Dance, and the boardwalk itself. Cookman Avenue's restaurants and shops are just as close. Leave the car - everything worth walking to is walkable, and Instacart or Wegman's handles the rest.
INSIDE
Sleep 8+ across 4 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins and 3 full bathrooms. The twins can convert to a king if you prefer, foam spacer and mattress cover are located in the middle bedroom on the 2nd floor and sheets are in the linen closet. ACs in every bedroom and living room.
The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking; pots, pans, silverware, dishes, cooking utensils, toaster, electric coffee pot (drip), microwave, dishwasher and all the small appliances you'd expect from home.
THE GARDEN
Guests consistently tell us the garden is their favorite part of their stay, and we agree. Dine al fresco at a teak table for six, fire up the Weber grill (the season starts with two gas tanks; guests are responsible for refills) and unwind by the water fountain in a backyard that feels like a private escape in the middle of town. You can feel the ocean air and hear the Stone Pony shows.
BEACH SUPPLIES
We stock most essentials: 2 bikes, 8-10 beach chairs, 2 coolers, a beach buggy, towels, plus 2 adult and 2 senior beach passes (guests are responsible if passes are lost.)
Also included: washer/ 2 dryers, a spare full-size fridge, and WiFi.
Street parking only - pay by app, or head two streets over to free street parking starting at Grand Avenue.
Your host is responsive and available throughout your stay, ask any of our repeat guests.

My family (age range 20-82) stayed at Lisa’s fabulous home while we were attending/celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Monmouth University. The location was perfect- easy drive to campus (15-20 min). The house was super comfy/cozy, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully arranged- lots of space for everyone to hang out together (both inside and outside!) The kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed to prep/cook meals. Lisa was a top-notch host- extremely helpful, communicative and lightning fast answering any/all questions. Would 100% stay again!

Lisa was amazing. From in-line questions to being extremely flexible. Location was around the block from the wedding and 10 min walk to everything else. We never needed to move the car!Would definitely stay there again
