My two daughters and I evacuated from the Tampa Bay Area ahead of the hurricane. It was a great choice. I have friends in Sopchoppy and wanted to be close. The unit is very nice. It’s clean and comfortable and very well furnished. We loved having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. It’s within walking distance of stores and restaurants. The only problem I had was two flights of stairs but I am older. I would still stay there again because of all the good features.

My husband, myself & our friends had a great time. With the boat ramp right across the street it was very convenient to put our boat in go fishing & enjoy the beaches/islands by boat. The on site pool was also a great way to start/end our day of boating. House had all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend this charming condo.

We enjoyed the view from the balcony watching the sun set and come up over the bay. Even enjoyed the music down the road from the local tavern. Neighbors were extremely nice and helpful. However, asich as the location and people were a plus the place from initial view appeared to be clean but as the first day continued more unclean habits revealed themselves. Active roaches were in the kitchen infested. Dead roaches were down stairs found in bathtubs and bedrooms. One bedroom had a wet huge stain on the carpet from a leak. After stripping the bed once leaving I am appalled at what my family actually slept on during their stay...stains all over the mattress. There were dirty socks left under bed from previous tenants.
The roaches were quickly attended to by the property manager but the exterminator reported the previous tenants had an infestation that was treated a week ago. If that was true why would you rent the place until it was under control? I use to clean vacation rentals and this was a average place that didn't require alot of extra cleaning but I'd definitely look into getting a different cleaner because they just did a hit and miss cleaning.
It was beautifully decorated and we were able to enjoy our time regardless of the cleanliness.
