Located in the beautiful Historic District on East Jones Street, you’ll enjoy the quintessential cobblestones and century-old oak trees that spurred Southern Living Magazine to name it the “America’s prettiest street.” With décor provided by 24e., Savannah's finest design and furnishings store, there is a lot of personality packed into this two-bedroom, one-bath house.
Decorative twin fireplaces, common in the historic railroad cottages on East Jones Street, flank the couch, a perfect blend of history and modern luxury. Original wood flooring and barn-style doors give the space a rich, unforgettable character. Connected to the master bedroom is a small study with seating and a desk, perfect for the digital nomad. Guests love the slate floors in the light filled kitchen, which has access to your private courtyard.
You’ll find a full-sized washer and dryer in the short, central hallway leading to the bedrooms.
The primary suite features a cozy queen-size bed with tufted headboard and a flat screen TV, while the second bedroom has two twin-size beds. The full bathroom has plenty of space and light to get ready for a night on the town!

This property was exactly as described. It is located on a quiet, beautiful tree line street. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The beds were comfortable and ample room to sleep four. The cottage was very clean and welcoming upon arrival. We had an issue getting in the back gate, so we called the host and the isucky Savannah. The issue was fixed immediately and the person we spoke with was very courteous and helpful. We were two women staying at the property alone. Parking is in the back alley. To get into the house from the designated parking area, we had to go through the gate into the back courtyard and then enter the house. After dark we preferred to park on the street in front of the cottage. Finding parking on this street was not an issue so it worked out better for us. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would stay here again if/when we return to Savannah. Very enjoyable!

Cozy and comfortable, within walking distance of many Savannah activities/restaurants—onsite parking was a huge plus. My one suggestion would be put lighting at back gate.

A Perfect Historic Retreat on Savannah's Prettiest Street!Our stay at the charming cottage on Jones Street was absolutely perfect, exceeding all expectations. Jones Street truly lives up to its reputation as one of the most beautiful streets in America—it felt like stepping back in time every morning as we walked beneath the massive live oaks draped in Spanish moss.The home itself struck the ideal balance between historic charm and modern comfort. We loved the original hardwoods and the beautiful, secluded private courtyard. Having this quiet retreat right in the heart of the Historic District was invaluable after a day of exploring.The location provided an incredible base for exploring the city's rich history. Savannah's preserved architecture, famously untouched by General Sherman's March, is astonishing. Our favorite excursions were deep dives into the past, especially the visits we made to the historical cemeteries. Strolling through the weathered stones of Colonial Park Cemetery allowed us to feel the city's earliest colonial roots, while our trip to the grand, picturesque Bonaventure Cemetery was a breathtaking look at Victorian-era monuments and the haunting beauty of the lowcountry landscape.We truly appreciated that the house allowed us to live within that history rather than just observing it from a hotel. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an authentic and deeply atmospheric Savannah experience.
