A very nice little hotel with friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

Quiet location, big rooms, near to a bar/restaurant, a pleasant park, and some shops on the main road (including a cash point that you could swipe, so no danger of losing your card) .. you can walk down the main road to the river .. breakfast was basic but nice, and beer could be bought from a fridge in reception, and you could sit on the wall outside and drink it .. a relaxed vibe at a very good price .. I would consider staying there again

Quite a distance from the town centre, which is not usually a problem for me, but it became one in Astana! .. the buses needed a prepaid card and I never worked out how or where to get one?! The hotel receptionists were unhelpful on this matter as they only spoke Kazakh (fair enough) and there was no information available in the room .. it also seemed impossible to flag down a taxi in the street, it's all digital and you need to download an app, which I'm not comfortable with, and even if I had done that, I had no signal anyway?! .. my favourite bar, Vtoroy, ordered taxis for me so I could get around, thanks guys .. I appreciate this is not the hotel's fault, but it's a shame technology seems to be making things worse for tourists?! .. (Taxis were incredibly good value for money by the way) .. Wake up Astana, not every visitor is glued to their phones, some of us are adults?!

The price only

You get what you pay for! Cleaning the rooms only every 3 days, very moderate breakfast, the utensils were not clean. No electricity and WiFi for two days in a row.
