This property was perfect for our trip to Oktoberfest. Close enough to get in and out of Mt. Angel with no problems far enough away for country quiet and relaxation!

An adorable old farmhouse with lots of vintage charm. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of clean linens. We needed a crockpot and hand mixer to prepare for a family reunion we attended and Sarah had each available for our use. The memories of my grandma’s house were awakened especially sitting on the old porch swing. I did have to clean the cobwebs off the porch swing, but it was an enjoyable labor so I didn’t really mind. I would stay here again if the occasion arose again.

We attended a wedding at the Oregon Gardens, and this was the perfect location to stay at. It was a short 5 min drive and perfect for our party of 4.

The property is dated and on a busy road but we enjoyed our stay for the weekend we were attending Mt Angel Bach Festival and visiting the Oregon Garden nearby. It would be helpful to have better blinds in the large bedroom for early summer sunrise.

We were visiting family in the area for Thanksgiving. We chose to stay in the house rather than a motel as the house offered more convenience for meals and group get togethers. We found the house to be everything we expected and wanted. There is a level of rustic charm that is not available in modern houses.

Vintage and very quaint, a perfect location for our family to stay and prepare for a family wedding in nearby Mt. Angel.
Tim was great to work with and accommodated our early arrival, which was much appreciated! He was fast to save the day with a Plan A and Plan B when the water pump had issues. Luckily, success was achieved with Plan A! Thanks Tim!
No complaints with sleeping arrangements and I can testify that even the twin beds were comfortable!
Thank you!

We enjoyed the beautiful land this house is on! Lots of nature to sit back and relax in. The house is definitely a dive back in history.

The downstairs was warm and welcoming, the stairs were a bit steep.
We didn’t expect to be sharing our parking area with a business parking, not that it was a bad thing, just unexpected. Our younger generation didn’t appreciate the uniqueness of a family farmhouse. So happy it was so spacious and convenient to our reason for being in the area.

This is such a cute, old farm house. It had a little patio and a nice front porch with a swing. The property is just beautiful and my family really enjoyed staying here. It is close to town but also out in the country. My kids ended up having very bad allergy attacts. (They are allergic to grass) so we headed home early while my parents enjoyed the house the last day. Owners are very easy to communicate with and i would recommend this rental!

This is a very traditional older farm house. It was comfortable and functional for our needs. Be aware it is very close to the road with a lot of traffic noise but we got use to it pretty fast and it is limited at night. Great access to Silver Falls SP.

We had a nice stay at this old farmhouse outside of Silverton with beautiful farms and land along the drive to the property. It was easy to get into town for activities. The owners were easy to reach with questions and very kind to accommodate us on a special need for check-in.
The master bedroom is very spacious with a king bed and a crib with plenty of light in the morning. There was a bedroom with a queen and a third with 2 twin beds that both had decent room for an older house. The kitchen and breakfast nook had great light for a sunny weekend. The shower isn't ideal for tall people given the slanted 2nd floor ceiling, but we are 5'10" and under and did fine.
We were a bit confused on the check-in process until we realized there was an attachment that gave the important details - watch for that! The rural WIFI was what you would expect.
Very close to Oregon Gardens, which is also the location of the Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon House. Good food options in Silverton, including food trucks. Check out the murals and the quaint covered pedestrian bridge over Silver Creek near Town Square Park. Had a great hike at Silver Falls State Park. HIGHLY recommend the Tree Climbing at Silver Falls for teens.

We all had a great time in the comfortable farm house. There was plenty of room for the 3 and 6 year old to play and we grandparents were comfortable and felt the little ones were safe. The little boys loved the grounds and couldn’t get enough of the walnuts on the ground. They just had to bring some home to try to crack. The kitchen is well stocked and the breakfast nook is amazing. It made rainy cold morning coffee time enjoyable looking at the plants and enjoying the light. Remember this is an old farmhouse with no washer dryer and worn, stained carpets (a plus for those of us with little ones - but we didn’t have to worry they were happy eating all the time in the breakfast nook). But the large bed rooms are stocked with comfortable beds. The tropical nursery plants and display garden are delightful even in the winter. We missed open hours at the green house - next visit!

Reminded me of all the old houses I lived in when I was a kid in the Willamette valley. Unique and corky styles and layouts inside are always fun in an old house

Spacious house set up for a casual family getaway
My GPS told me to go further down the road but the residence is really located on the highway at a tropical plant/greenhouse. We had lots of space for just ourselves and lots of quiet and privacy. There is even a Harry Potter cupboard under the stairs that is just as I had imagined it. Charming older house. The hosts left coffee and instant oatmeal in the cabinets to use. The TV reception upstairs in the master bedroom was not so good- the picture kept breaking up so I would recommend watching the TV downstairs in the spacious living room. We didn't use it but they have a DVD player also and the place is definitely set up for a family, with a crib in the master bedroom, other bedrooms and even board games to play. There is a kitchen dining table but also a formal dining room. Comfortable place for a family to stay.

Country Home
Our stay was like visiting grandma’s house with homemade quilts, needlepoint wall art, narrow steps that creak, comfortable mattresses, and kitchen cabinets with mismatched dishes - probably a story behind each one. Also, thoughtful preparation by home owners… like labeled sugar, extra coffee, … small things you may inadvertently forget to pack. My family enjoyed the home and our informal time together.

Comfortable farm house
I enjoyed my stay at this comfortable and cozy home. While staying there I was able to visit the nearby Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon house as well as Silver Falls State Park. Both are well worth seeing.. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms roomy and the beds comfortable. The bathrooms could benefit from a remodel but they served their purpose. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

Our review
We really enjoyed our stay. Bed linens in the room with 2 twins were pretty mediocre. Other 2 beds were fine. Lots of cobwebs. Larger fans would be great. Need a strainer in the kitchen. Trash can outside disappeared so couldn't empty trash. Generally, we liked it and would rent it again. Thank you!

Holiday trip
Struggled to find but that was mostly due to it being dark out. Didn’t get the check in information and could get ahold of own for about 20 mins and figured it out on my own. There were some ants in the kitchen but the rest of the house was fine. There was plenty of space to have my family for dinner for the holiday. The house did its job.
