About this house rental
This Yosemite West home is located inside Yosemite National Park. It is the closest lodging to the Badger Pass Ski area and Glacier Point, a short ten and twenty minute drive respectively, and is only twenty minutes from Yosemite Valley's floor. Hickory floors, slate tile, maple cabinets, vaulted ceiling, gas fire place, and granite countertops all add to the peaceful stay at the home. We also have Starlink internet.
The main bedroom is located on the top floor and has a California King sized bed. Adjacent this is the main bathroom which has a shower and large bathtub that looks out over the trees. The loft area can also access this bathroom if you like and is a perfect place to snuggle up and read and has a futon that sleeps two. Two additional bedrooms with queen size beds share the second bathroom on the main level.
The large deck is perfect in the summer months and is shaded by large fir trees.
The house has a full kitchen, well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, a large dining table and deck furniture.
Tesla car charging is available during off-peak hours (12pm - 7am) by special request - please inquire.
There is parking room for up to 3 cars; however, please let us know ahead of time if bringing more than 2. Also, to maximize parking, please park perpendicular to the street.

There is a studio apartment in the basement the might be occupied by the homeowner or housekeeper during your stay. There are no shared walls between the studio and rental unit.

Great property inside the park. We appreciated how well the kitchen was outfitted for cooking meals at the house. Beth was a great host, she was always available to answer questions. We lost power overnight for about a day, she had a cooler with ice to us first thing in the morning for our groceries, while they got their solar power backup batteries up and going. The house is as pictured. We would definitly rent again and I highly recommend it.

My family and I stayed here for a week and we had a great time. The location is very convenient to explore the wonderful parts of Yosemite NP. Beth was great to work with and easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with everything!

This property was a great location because it was central to most of the sites you want to see, about half an hour from Yosemite Valley, Mariposa Sequoia Grove, and others. You are within the gates of Yosemite, so no paying admittance every day, or waiting in line. The house was attractively furnished. Nice deck area. The kitchen had most of the implements you would want to cook with, but hardly any staples. Salt and pepper, and a variety of spices, but no sugar, oil, etc. Beds were extra firm. About half of our party liked that, and the other half, not so much. If you are picky about pillows, you may want to bring your own. Overall, it was a very good place to stay. The host was fantastic, and excellent at getting back to us right away. Go to the grocery store before you get to the park, either in Fresno, or another town along the way. The little grocery in Yosemite Valley is limited and extremely pricey. Almost double what you would pay elsewhere.

My brother and I rented this wonderful property to celebrate our mother’s 79th birthday. She has always said that Yosemite is “heaven on earth” and wanted to visit again. Staying at this home, which is inside of the park, was magical. The home is warm, inviting and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We made breakfast and lunch at the house and ate out for dinner. All cooking appliances and utensils we could have ever needed were available. The owner was exceptionally communicative, friendly and answered any questions I had quickly. We couldn’t have asked for a better host! We would absolutely come back :)
