Good location. Clean place. Nice vibe. Friendly people. Plenty of dining options in the neighborhood. Reasonably priced transportation options for caves tours.

No fridge. Contrary to what was stated in the email, web check-in is mandatory. Unfortunately, the web check-in requires uploading passport photo without any clear information about its processing rules. It is also complicated or close to impossible to organize transportation in the night to the train station, while walking (it's not that far) is not recommended by the staff.

I had a private room which was very comfortable, though I also used the female showers before check in which was very welcome after an overnight train. They were clean and common area is also nice and comfortable. I had good communication before arrival and the reception staff were helpful. They shared details of a taxi company for trips to the caves and I was able to share the cost with another guest from the hostel on both days. The location OK - there is a restaurant behind the hostel which was handy for breakfast and other restaurants nearby.

Nothing really

Nothing special. Common area and room was clean, so that was a positive.

The bunk beds on the dorms do not have curtains (as shown in the picture), but each bed has an individual lamp which is extremely strong. If someone in the bed across you turns on the light, the entire room lights up. Staff behaviour was really rude. I bought a lock in the front desk in the morning, locked my bag in the locker when went out. Upon return, I open the lock, but the key doesnt turn. I ask the staff to exchange it, cause i literally had gotten it a few hours back. They refused and said that they tested the lock before giving it to me (which was a lie, because i opened the box where he lock came in the room by myself), and then started suggesting that I had broken it and was trying to lie to them. I said I wouldnt even discuss with them over 50 ruppees, and just bought a new one.
