About this apartment rental
Spend the cold winter months at South Padre Island Texas in your own rented condo unit. South Texas climate is comfortable winter or summer. The Dolphin Condo unit is equipped with an outside balcony with each private bedroom. Each of the two bedrooms has a queen-sized bed and private bath along with a closet. Between the two bedrooms is a "loft" area which contains two twin beds. All these are upstairs.
Downstairs the kitchen is fully furnished with a dining table which seats six and two chairs at the kitchen bar. There is a 1/2 bath downstairs along with washer/dryer.
Backyard commons area to the Dolphin Condo complex has swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Two designated parking areas per unit are afforded. Grocery store and Island Clinic 1/2-1 block away. The beach of South Padre, which is the most beautiful beach in Texas, and what SPI is noted for, is directly across Gulf Blvd. from the Dolphin Condo complex.
Other activities available are: para-sailing, sail-boarding, dolphin watching, the south Texas version of the nationally famous Schlitterbahn Water Park, and beautifully designed and challenging South Padre Island Golf Club. A short drive nearby lands one at the 45,000 acre Laguna National Wildlife Refuge for birdwatching and animal observance. Matamoros, Mexico is only a short 35 minutes away for shopping, sightseeing, and also medicine purchases.
**Please NOTE. Dolphin Condo associational rules absolutely prevent renting to Spring Break participants, i.e. students unless there is parental accompaniment with the students.**

Perfect location: grocery store, beach, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance!! This townhouse is huge and very well stocked. Pool area is nice with plenty of loungers. Lots of bang for your buck here! Way more than I expected for the price. Beautifully decorated with nice, comfy furniture. Definitely will look into staying here next time we’re near SPI.

I loved everything from the beginning to the end. The owner communicated professionally, the unit was clean and we had everything we needed. When we return, we will choose this property and we have already shared the word. This was an amazing Anniversary trip that was well needed. Thank you for everything.

Very clean thanks to Jenny. Older unit, older furniture. No hair dryer. Beach towels and chairs would have been nice. A shelf of some sort in the showers would be helpful. Stairs are dangerous. Only one tv in one bedroom, and no remote so it did not work.It was a decent place, but nothing fancy. I appreciate a clean unit and it was! We enjoyed our stay.Parking can be a challenge because spots are not large enough for big trucks. Our neighbors regularly parked over the line into our spot.
