With a sloped driveway and around a dozen stairs leading up to the front door, guests may be deceived that this home would only be good for those who can handle lots of up-and-down. On the contrary, a narrow driveway around the left side of the house leads up to a small parking space, making entry to both the front door and the entry-level bedrooms just one short step up. These two bedrooms are ideal for guests with mobility issues, as well as kids.
Whether guests climb the front stairway or come around the back, they will be treated to a large, wrap-around deck. The deck is covered on one side and offers a gas grill and a table and four chairs. Wrapping around to the front of the house, the spacious deck features a fantastic view and additional seating.
The large living area boasts vaulted ceilings, a flat-screen TV with a selection of DVD movies, plush seating, a classic cast-iron wood burning stove, access to the front deck, and soaring picture windows. The far side of the room features a dining area with a large table and eight leather, swivel chairs. This area opens into the kitchen, which features plenty of counter space, ample cooking equipment, and a breakfast bar with three stools.
A carpeted stairway with a hand-crafted pine railing leads up to the master loft. This level has an interior half-wall that offers visual privacy for those upstairs, while preserving the open-air layout over the living room. The bedroom has a king-sized bed, an extremely large walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a dual vanity and a luxurious tile-and-glass shower. The loft level also features a small, private balcony overlooking the back yard and rear parking spot.

This was a fun house to stay at. The views from the deck and living room were great. We had elk sitting in the front yard. The hot tub was fun as well. Elk walked right past us as we were in the hot tub. The top floor bedroom has a half wall so whoever stays up there needs to be the last one to bed and the first one to wake (because you will be). There was a much welcomed seperate air conditioner there that I used nightly. There was also a large fan but I did not need it. At least one other bedroom on the main floor had an additional a/c as well. Im not sure about downstairs. None of the bathrooms had locks, which was nerve racking. We did cook several meals here. They had good pots, pans, and cooking sheets. There was no salt, pepper, or any spices/foods. We bought some salt/pepper and left it there but Im not sure if it will still be there. Coffee makers worked good. There was a small tv in the living room. The tv was in an strange location but it was because the living room had extra large windows. We loved the view more than watching the tv so it did not bother us. If you are tv watchers, it may be a problem. The house is up on a pretty large hill, away from the floods, which gave us some reassurance. Overall we loved the home. Nicer than the pictures.

We loved the location and closeness to town. We rented the house with our children and grandchildren. The house is nice and has plenty of room. The hot tub and game room were great. There is one room up stairs that only has a 1/2 wall….. so privacy is a little lacking. There is also a bedroom downstairs right next to the pool table. 2 bedrooms on the middle level.
The only issue we had is that not one room or bathroom has a door that locks. All bathrooms have a sliding door which does not really provide privacy. With a 2 & 3 year old who like to open every door - that was a bit of an issue.
Other than the no locking doors - everything was wonderful. We would definitely rent again in the future but we may bring something to secure the doors while showering or using the restrooms.
Loved the deer that came to the yard several times every day. Loved the kitchen and cooked almost every meal while there.
Overall great property.

Property on the older side…nothing to rave about but adequate. Awful, awful driveway and okay hot tub.
