Updated gorgeous modern beach home in coveted Marina Peninsula, 30 steps from sand, near Malibu, Venice and Abbott Kinney. Spectacular modern rooftop deck with chic Harbour furniture and new hot tub with clear ocean/beach view. Short bike ride/walk to chic restaurants/shops and Venice boardwalk. Floor-to-ceiling windows. Chef's kitchen (Viking/SubZero) + BBQ. 2 rain showers.
Enjoy the beauty of LA’s pristine beaches and the California lifestyle in this gorgeous beach home located in the Marina Dely Rey Peninsula. Literally thirty (30) steps from the sand, our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home is centrally located in between world-famous Venice Beach and Marina Del Rey, adjacent to Santa Monica, and a short scenic drive to Malibu. Our beach house was designed with a contemporary “sun, sand, water” inspiration. One (1) master bedroom AND one (1) Master loft bedroom with king size beds, plus a “kids” room with 2 bunk beds (i.e., 4 twins), make this home a perfect luxurious beach get-away for up to 2 families. Moreover, each master comes with its own private en-suite bath making it a breeze to get ready to go explore. The master loft bedroom looks over the living room and has a direct view of the ocean.
Where to go is endless …. A short bike ride or walk to a myriad of restaurants and shops, not to mention the Venice boardwalk and the main Venice Canal, the artsy/hip Abbot Kinney (home to many of LA's best restaurants), and the glorious yachts and boardwalk of Marina Del Rey. Activities ranging from paddle boarding, surfing, boating, fishing, bike riding, rollerblading, and just plain relaxing are all at your finger tips. Want to play volleyball? There's a volleyball court thirty steps from the house where you can host a game. Feel like staying in? Twenty foot tall living room ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows and ocean views, a cozy fire place, service bar, and a 65 inch flat-screen TV make snuggling up on the designer sofa and watching the latest football game or film on Netflix very enticing. Overlook the Pacific Ocean, enjoy spectacular sunsets, or have a zen yoga session all from the comfort of your personal rooftop terrace. A 2 car garage makes parking a snap. You may even want to stay in and cook or have a BBQ because preparing a meal in the fully equipped chef’s kitchen (complete with all top-of-the-line appliances including a Viking stove and Sub Zero refrigerator) will be a joy. Finally, unwind in one of the 2 spacious dual person rain showers after a fun day at the beach and being out and about in Los Angeles.
If you come during the 4th of July, you'll enjoy an amazing fireworks show from the rooftop terrace that is presented by the famed Zambelli; the fireworks are launched from a barge right in the main channel of the Marina (a 5 min walk). If you come during the winter holidays, you'll enjoy a spectacular holiday boat parade in the main channel as well. After spending some time at our beach house, we are sure you will love our home as much as we do and will return time and again.
Note: our home contains lots of stairs, no elevator.
Note#2: Our two car garage does not fit XL size SUVs but normal mid-size SUVs will fit nicely.

From the second we opened the front door we were all amazed how perfect everything looked and how inviting the home is. The pictures of the space on VRBO are more than accurate! Each level of the home has its own charm and is tastefully decorated. The garage was a welcomed bonus!! Craig’s communication was fantastic throughout and the location is PERFECT!! Yes, the location is the best of both worlds-quiet and serene, or walk 10 minutes to awesome restaurants and shops. When we come back, we are definitely staying here again!!

Might be the best VRBO we’ve stayed in. Location is excellent and this home is loaded with everything you need for a comfortable beach stay. Our family of 6 had a great week and Craig is a top notch communicator. We’re already talking about our next stay.

My husband, four kids and I stayed for 9 nights at this beautiful condo right across the street from the beach. There was plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was amazing! We loved the location and all of the space. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful!

We had a great time at Craig's swank/modern house and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They've really stepped it up in terms of the decor/bathrooms/kitchen all well appointed. He was a pleasure to deal with and extremely responsive, really knows what he's doing and made it as easy as possible.
The house is great-modern and cosy all at once-and really comfortable, and we enjoyed the rooftop spa and views immensely. Great array of extras including bikes, sand toys, and more which were really great to have.
Be aware that there is tar on the beach in front of the house so either wear something or be prepared to scrub it off with baby/vegetable oil to which they kindly had ready for us as well. Also, there is construction going on across the street so factor some noise in for weekday stays.
Kids had a blast, really fun getaway for us all!
