Everything was clean and orderly. There was a smell that was not very pleasant when you walked in, I especially noticed it around the dinning room table and the 2nd bedroom.

We came in and absolutely fell in love with the place, until.... We woke up to HUGE roaches in the living room & kitchen area.We went to dry clothes and the lint trap wouldn't stay on the dryer and started banging and smelling like it was going to burn. We looked up and noticed that the dining room vent was covered in mold.The TV is controlled my multiple light switches in the living room which is extremely confusing. You can't have chandelier off and be able to watch TV. I hated to be a Karen, truly. But I called them and discussed the issues we did have and they sent someone out to fix the dryer fairly quick and said they sprayed while we at the beach for roaches. It also appeared he tried to wipe the mold too. A lot of things were like a bandaid was slapped on it but we are a redneck family from the south so really the only thing that super bothered us was the roaches. I would recommend this place as long as these things were taken care of.Other than that, great view off of the 17th floor, spacious, good water pressure, plenty of towels and rags. The pool was under construction but the next door pool was available and super close!

The property is beautiful, very nicely furnished and a gorgeous view of the gulf. Unfortunately, the service from the management company left a lot to be desired. When we arrived on day one, I notified them that the TV in the living room would not work and it appeared to be related to a short in the wiring. They indicated they would send someone over. Early in the morning on day two, I notified them that there was a problem with the Hall toilet and an inability to flush it. The response was they would put in a ticket. Throughout the rest of our four day stay, despite follow up, no one ever came to the unit to address the issues.. In the meantime, I was able to fix the toilet, also fix the hall sink, which would not drain, fix the icemaker and diagnose the issue with the wiring, though I could not make it keep from throwing the breaker. Gibson beach rentals has a good reputation. I understand but they did this unit owner no favors. Very disappointing service.Given the lack of response, the least they could do is leave a few tools in the unit that can be accessed.
