A lovely little get away.

On the doorstep of the beach, cathedral, pubs, shops, a good long, doable walk to Fairy Glen if you choose. Lovely little place, clean, comfy bed, quick contact when I had issues with the TV.

No outdoor area, but all good as up and out to explore. A wine glass or two would be a nice plus.

Disappointing

The front door was filthy and had not been cleaned in quite some time. The owners post was on the door mat, which also had not been collected in quite some time. There had been no heating on at the property and it took a full 24 hours to heat up adequately. There was food stains on the hob and splash back. Washing-up liquid spilt and left next to the sink. The lamp in the living room needed a new bulb. There was underwear belonging to someone in one of the bedside cabinets and the bed was untidy. There were no tea towels to dry dishes. It wasn't possible to use both the kettle and the toaster without cutting out the electricity. The shower was dirty; there were brown marks on the walls in the shower, the glass door and panels were unclean, as were the door mechanisms. Paint was peeling off the ceilings in the bedroom and shower. Once cleaned and heated through the little flat was nice, namely cosy and where we wanted to be Despite being roadside was quiet with access to all local amenities, transport links and parking nearby. Just a shame that the property is not cared for, and as guests, not were we.

Lovely ground floor apartment, I’d use again

Plenty of room, nicely decorated, very clean. It’s a ground floor one bed apartment on the pavement in Fortrose. The front door opens onto the main street and the bedroom is at the back. So lots of road noise at the front but the bedroom is quiet. Very well equipped and clean.

No mirror in the bedroom, only in the bathroom, so you can’t use the hairdryer in front of a mirror! A mirror in the bedroom, even a simple vanity mirror on the windowsill would be better. Also there was an electric (plug in) air freshener running on my arrival which set off my hayfever. There’s a small damp patch in the bedroom so perhaps the smell is bad without it, but it was pretty unpleasant for me. I had to switch it off and open all the windows and door for an hour. Finally, the communication about how I would receive the key box code could be much better. The process (receiving a text at 2pm the day of check in) was fine, but I wasn’t told that was the plan in any of my booking emails etc. Perhaps add that to the Booking.com property info?

Problems with sanitation and underfloor water leak. Customer concerns/complaints about sanitation and underfloor water leak in bathroom were ignored. Owner did not reply to e-mails or telephone calls once the booking was underway.

I love the accommodation it's self and how it was designed. It's a nice quite place to stay There was Internet and a wide selection of app to watch on the Tv

It's was quite hard to find The hot water for the bathroom was not hot however the kitchen tap was. Recommend to get new pots, pans and add bin bags to the apartment.

Exceptional

Excellent location for viewing the Dolphins. Lovely newly renovated property with a super comfortable bed and great facilities. We will defiantly be staying here next time we visit Inverness. Inverness city centre was around 15 minutes drive in the car. Easy self check-in procedure which meant we didn’t get to meet anybody upon arrival which was a quick, convenient and suited us. The owner was always available on the phone if we needed anything.

Comfortable little apartment

A great, well-located little apartment. Very clean and well equipped. There was an excellent restaurant 30 secs away called IV10 and a supermarket and bakery very close by.

The heating wasn’t on when we arrived and it was very cold. Took a while to warm up. A small window was open too which didn’t help. The outside of the building needs some work.
