About this cottage rental
Our Rendezvous House is located on a deep-water canal in a quiet residential neighborhood on the South side of the Homosassa River. We are just around the corner from marker 76, west of the boat ramp at MacRaes and right at the end of “idol speed” - Perfect location to head out for a day of fishing, scalloping, or just cruising along the river.
Just a few minutes by golf cart (Golf cart not included but you are welcome to bring yours) to The Freezer, MacRaes (The Shed), Shelly’s Seafood Market, Wild Sassa Restaurant, Riverside Resort (home of Monkey Island) and the Old Mill Tavern.
Our fully furnished 1 Bedroom/1 Bath bungalow sleeps 4 adults comfortably with your choice of a King bed OR two twin beds in the bedroom and a Queen Murphy bed in the spacious living area. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar overlooks the dining and living area. Bathroom has a shower, double sink vanity and laundry center.
Huge upper deck around 3 sides of the house is perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Our 65' Boat dock has plenty of room for your boat (additional charge for more than 2 watercraft) and the lower deck and open-air covered area is perfect for entertaining. Grill, picnic table, fish cleaning table, fire pit and plenty of room for parking make this the perfect place to "rendezvous" with old and new friends

Tammy and Kevin were great hosts! Their house felt like home away from home. Stocked with everything we could need. Was very clean too! Sitting on the dock in the mornings and after being on the boat was so relaxing. We really loved every part of the home and look forward to returning :-)

We had a great time and this house was a perfect location. It was so close to the main water area to go out to go fishing or scalloping and close and convenient to the area restaurants. It was so nice and easy to be able to park our boat there for the week at the dock and have it ready to go each day. We met Tammy, she was super nice and went over and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor space under the house with the grill and picnic table was perfect for grilling and having dinner outside, which is where we spent most of our time (fishing also). It is definitely a perfect location and we will definitely be going again.
