Tucked away off a quiet, less traveled street, the Light Keeper's Duck offers a peaceful location, with the convenience of a short (10-15min) walk to shops, restaurants, and Springer's Point Nature Preserve. The cottage greets travelers with delightful decor details, and well appointed amenities for a relaxing and comfortable stay on Ocracoke.
The Light Keeper's Duck Cottages accommodates a max of 4 guests. The cottage is well suited for two couples, or a family of 4. The two bedroom, one and one half bath home, has a queen bed in each bedroom. One of the queen beds can be deconstructed into two small single beds, which are suitable for young children.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful property. The attention to detail, made it feel cozy, and everything was spotless and well-maintained. One of the highlights was definitely the incredible view of the lighthouse.The location was perfect: peaceful, yet close enough to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking in, and the beds were very comfortable after a long day of exploring.We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years, and this one stands out for its charm, cleanliness, and unbeatable view. Highly recommend and would love to return!
