Las Perseidas

Late flight but Carlos met us at the Villa at 12.30am, stayed and showed us around. His English was very good, even though he did not think is was.

We were ok but in the height of the summer months Air Con might be required.

In summary the indoors are just tired, the owner needs to take a tiny % of the rental and plough it back into the property. Soft furnishings seemed old. Bedrooms struggled with lighting, power points, air con and WiFi. The kitchen really needed an update and the cupboards need a thorough going through - so many random items but some key things missing eg chopping boards. Some items in the kitchen were old, eg random selection of mugs - I brought my own for €2. Things for others to note that cannot be helped but are useful - it is a distance from town, we knew that but the reality is a distance. The wind brings with it a fine layer of orange sand so the outside tables, chairs and cushions are always dirty, we brought wipes and cleaned as best we could.
