About this house rental
Duckin’ Around is an ocean side house that provides a tranquil escape from the demands of everyday life. This home has been tastefully decorated and furnished to maximize your vacation experience. It is located in Carolina Dunes Subdivision, only 9 lots from the ocean and is just a short bike ride into Duck Village where you can experience great shopping, dining, and magnificent sunsets on the water. This is truly an affordable Outer Banks family vacation rental. For beach information and the current activities, refer to the Town of Duck website!
While vacationing on the Outer Banks, take the short drive North to Corolla to see the wild horses, or South to the Hatteras National Seashore and Lighthouse. Be sure to visit the Wright Brother's Memorial and Jockey's Ridge State Park, too. With so much to do, your family is sure to create memories that will last a life time!
House provides comfortable stay for a group of 8. Linens and bath towels are not provided but can be rented if desired.
Ground Level: Parking for 5 cars max, 1 Car Garage, Laundry Area, Full Bath, Enclosed Outdoor Shower, TV/Game room with sleeping for 2 (foosball table, dartboard, TV-Game console, and card table) BBQ Grill and complete wrap around walkway/deck. Full bath and TV room is not directly connected to main level. Stairs are outside.
First Floor and Main level: ¾ Wrap around deck with Multiple Sitting Areas and picnic table, 3 Bedrooms: Master(Queen); Bedroom2(Full with Twin Bunk); Bedroom3(Queen with Twin Trundle) Full Bath room with tub, Kitchen(Dishwasher, Microwave, etc) Living Room(50” Flat Screen, with Media player for Pandora, Netflix, and Hulu) Dining Room seating for 8.
Second Floor Deck/Crow's Nest: Duckin’ Around is located on the North face of the last large dune in Duck and provides an amazing 160 degree view from Ocean to Bay. The Crow's Nest truly offers stunning sunset views of the Sound and Ocean.
Please be aware, there is video surveillance on the outside property. Anyone caught damaging property or not following house rules will have their lease terminated and evicted immediately without refund.

Charming beach house with all of the amenities and then some! The downstairs game room is the perfect hangout spot for teens or teens at heart. Walking distance to both the ocean and Sound beaches. Plenty of fun little shops nearby, churches in close proximity and no shortage of seafood restaurants. Enjoyed a lovely week here and plan to return next summer!

This was our 2nd two-week stay and it was great! We loved riding our bikes to the beach during the day and into Duck for dinner and sunsets in the evening. The crow’s nest was perfect to take in the stars. The outdoor shower is awesome too! Duckin’ Around is comfortable and convenient - we will be back!

This was our second year in a row staying at the Duckin’ Around. Again we had a wonderful visit. Our two kids (5 & 2) loved the bunk bed and the slide! We all enjoyed the amazing sunset from the brand new roof deck area. Great communication with Jessica and no issues. Such a fun week, can’t wait to come again!
