The Crow Pass, Iditarod, or Winner Creek Trails are nearby for hikes into Chugach National Forest and surrounding glaciers. Dining is just steps from your door at Jack Sprat, Sitzmark, The Bake Shop, and La Bodega. You simply cannot beat this location!

I really did enjoy our stay here so leaving 3 stars is very hard for me. I would stay again, if the safety issues I called in about were addressed.
We had a deck slat break out from underneath us. The board was completely rotted out, and just disintegrated when it was stepped on. Lucking my foot was far enough on the next one to prevent injury. I called vacasa right away, and was told a property manager was going to get righ back to me to address the slat, and I didn't hear from them at all during our stay.
The fire suppressant system is way too close to the top loft bunks to not have some soft of metal cage protection. These are the alcohol glass type and if bumped inadvertently, could fill the room with fire suppressant. Not safe or smart.
Honestly though, the place was very cute, and we did enjoy out stay there, but the two things need to be taken care of asap. With these issues fixed, easily a 5/5. Kitchen had everything we needed in it for 3 adults, fridge was adequate in size, forks were tiny but made me not eat as fast haha!
