Riad La Villa Bleue, Authencité ...

A group of 15 of us extended family stayed here for the week and really enjoyed it . Victor, siham and mohammed were so nice to us and we can’t praise their hospitality enough. Every question about the holiday was answered online very quickly prior to arrival. Also at the villa they were very accommodating to all our needs, they arranged the taxis and excursions. The breakfast was great and the lovely fresh orange juice is something we won’t forget. The villa is much bigger than what we expected from the pictures and the pool was really big compared to other riads we looked at prior to booking. Only thing i would say is that it was really deep so definitely need arm bands for children and we bought some pool rings as well. In terms of the privacy we were worried at first having other people at the villa; we’ve been on other villa holidays where theres not been any managers around and we just collected the keys but having victor, siham and mohammed there was no problem at all, they went about they’re own jobs didn’t even look twice if we were laughing about something and it was such a help having them there. The location wasn’t bad as it was a quite neighbourhood so not too busy but at the same time wasn’t a very close walking distance to many of the main sites. However it didn’t really matter to us because it was about 10 mins taxi ride to Gueliz centre and maybe about 20 mins to the markets and taxis are cheap. It was close to local shops and food places so convenient in that sense. I would definitely recommend venturing out of marrakesh as well, we travelled to Casablanca for a day trip to visit the mosque and the beach and then to ouzoud falls another day. Honestly such amazing sights to visit and the journey was so easy because we got a mini bus and had a great time together. Overall very pleased with our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a group holiday in marrakesh.
