About this house rental
Unique lower level of daylight basement home (owners reside in the upper level), and centrally located in the Okanogan area. Serene setting with a captivating view, nestled on a hillside just above lush orchards.
Minutes from skiing, shopping, sledding, boating hunting, fishing & the Omak Stampede grounds. This home affords the visitors to lively activities & relaxing downtime from traffic and noise.
If you are a stargazer this is the perfect location.
Lake Chelan with it's many wineries is just 45 minutes south. Winthrop and the North Cascades is just 45 minutes west. We enjoy sharing fresh fruit off of our trees (in season) for our guests table. Apricots, donut peaches, Hale peaches, and apples.
We are also certified by the Okanogan County Board of Health, Permit #19-124
We have an assortment of wildlife in the area. Deer roam the property during the winter. There are coyotes, wolves, rabbits, and an occasional snake. We even had a moose wander through the upper orchard one morning. We have seen three different types of snakes, blue racers, bull snakes and rattlesnakes.
We ask all to please keep your distance and never approach any of the snakes or wildlife.

We loved this property! Perfect for our family and it included everything we needed to have a wonderful time! The hosts were extremely accommodating and absolutely wonderful! The location is beautiful and very well cared for; very clean as well! We can't wait to stay again!

As always--six times now--Quail Haven was a pleasure for us. Well-furnished and well-supplied living space and kitchen. Well-connected for a bit of online work as needed. Well-situated near pickleball in Omak, kayaking the Many Lakes Rec Area, fishing Omak Lake, and walking the Sinlahekin Wildlife Refuge. Thanks to Joe and Sandy!

Fantastic, impeccably maintained home off the beaten path with privacy and beautiful views. Owners are on site upstairs and greeted us on arrival. It’s clear they have put a lot of work into this property to make it special for guests. It was hot (85-90) during our stay but the downstairs stayed cool and comfortable, with a great seating area outdoors in the shade to take in the sunset. We were fishing and gone both days, but were glad to have such a great place to come back to and grill burgers. There are not many services nearby in Malott. This is a gem, so treat it and the owners well.

The property was perfect for our family. The view was amazing! The patio was setup perfectly with everything you need plus a firepit and misters! Joe & Sandie don't usually open the pool until June but I asked if it could be open for our Memorial Day weekend since the weather was supposed to be in the 80's. They went out of their way to get it open for us and our 2 yr old grandson had a blast swimming in the pool. Thank you Joe & Sandie for the fabulous family memories we were able to create in your space.Joe & Sandie are excellent hosts!
