Built in 1894 and extensively renovated, this beautiful guest house sits on a 1/2 acre gated property in the downtown historic district. Walk or bike to OSU events, downtown shopping, restaurants and live music. Adjacent to the large Victorian main house, you'll find everything you need in the Garden Guesthouse. The fully furnished 1 bedroom/1 bath guesthouse sleeps four comfortably and includes a washer/dryer and kitchen. No smoking or pets.

We had a great three -night stay at this beautiful property. The apartment was immaculate, very comfortable, and set up with everything we needed. The grounds are spectacular, especially with all the spring flowers in bloom. An amazing setting for this lovely accommodation, a serene island in the middle of a charming neighborhood. And the location was great - walking distance from all the restaurants and shops in the charming downtown area. Our host, Beverly, was welcoming and very responsive to any questions or anything we needed. We will stay here again, no question!

I was lucky enough to stay here for a week. Its a very comfortable place. The grounds alone are worth it. Its walkable to great places to eat. The bed is comfy, and it has a few nice extras. I plan on staying again. Bev was so nice, easy to communicate with.

We spent 12 days visiting our new granddaughter and her parents. This space was perfect. We felt very safe with the gated courtyard for parking. The gardens around the grounds are beautiful. The lick system was easy to use.The kitchen had all the necessary supplies. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable. Even the sleeper sofa was more comfortable than most. The bathroom was small, but that was to be expected considering the roofline. The only thing I would change would be the mirrors over the sink. It was difficult for my husband to use them to shave.We will love to come back here for more granddaughter visits in the future!

I have enjoyed this property on seven different occasions over the last year, and each time I have been in awe of how beautiful the landscaping is from one season to the next. The property owner is lovely, and so are the people that help maintain it.

The Carriage House is always my first choice when we come to Corvallis. We've stayed here several times over the past years, and absolutely love it. The garden is the biggest lure for me, and this summer it was bursting with color, berries and even veggies which we were generously allowed to pick. The house itself is a delight, a calm space with a delightful outlook from its windows and everything we need inside. The owner Beverly is as helpful and accommodating as could be and we always feel warmly welcomed.

The photos on VRBO look “staged”, but when you get there, it’s even more pristine than pictured. The rooms were spotless and all the convenience items were present plus extras. (A Britta water filter pitcher, for instance.) Location wise, we parked our minivan in the courtyard, then walked to the left for dining and shopping downtown and to the right to my son’s office mid-campus. We hope to stay here again and again when making the trek from PA to visit OSU.

This property is a beauty - gracious, elegant, with a peaceful garden just now full of springtime color. The Carriage House is thoughtfully furnished and equipped, with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Best of all, it's a delightful walk away from the OSU campus and not much further to the center of town. Our hosts could not have been more thoughtful and helpful. We look forward to our next stay here!

Such an ideal spot for visiting students at OSU. It is very close to campus and walking distance to downtown. The rental is in a cute neighborhood and the property it sits on is huge and beautiful. We had a great time at the property to was stunning and beautiful and quiet! Having a gated area was nice especially with our kids who are 4 and 1 years of age. It was lovely at night too! With the lights in the trees and still some apples which were delicious! We will Definitely come back!

OMG, the gardens at this home are magazine worthy. The owners were there to greet us and could not have been more friendly. Though we did not cook there seemed to be virtually anything you needed. Bed was comfy, shower was hot, can't wait to go back next year.
