About this villa rental
A modern aegean style villa on the ionian seaside, ideal for families or friends who seek elegance and relaxation. Situated in Paleros, an ancient city and modern town, 30m from a private beach. The property's location benefits from stunning views of the Ionian sea and makes it an ideal destination not only as a summer getaway, but also during spring and autumn due to it's mild climate. Within easy reach from Preveza airport (aprox 30mins drive) and about 30mins from Lefkas island towncenter.
A beautiful villa - situated on a 2500sqm land that contains olive and pine trees- set in the lush greenery of Palairos within walking distance of a private beach (crystal clear and calm waters). The property consists of an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dinner and living room with a full working fireplace .The ground floor also has a toilet with hand basin. Double French windows lead out onto the terrace, which overlooks the azure blue of the Ionian sea, for al fresco dining. A built in barbecue is also available. The first floor has two double bedrooms which open onto a spacious balcony with stunning views. Perfect for evening relaxation. In between the two bedrooms there is a whole area suitable for an extra sleep/relaxing area. The family bathroom consists of shower and hand basin. In terms of accessibility to the property there is a private gate available only to the guests. Ample and secure parking is on offer.
The guests will have access to the whole house and it's facilities. Including the surrounding area and private beach.
Due to the property's location near by islands such as Lefkas, Meganisi, Skorpios, Ithaki, Kalamos, Kastos, Atokos can be easily visited.
The main village is 1.7 km away where you can find all points of interest (dining, shopping, supermarkets, bank ATM's etc). Car, scooter, boat and bicycle rental is available and the location is also ideal to practice water sports. Archaeological sites near by.

Der Vermieter Ilias macht einem die Anreise so einfach wie möglich (Wegbeschreibung mit Fotos, wartet beim Grund), ist immer erreichbar für Extrawünsche etc.
Das Haus selbst ist ob seiner Lage , seiner Bauweise und seiner Ausstattung einzigartig.
Die Zufahrt direkt vors Haus ist Gewohnheitssache und klappt mit der Zeit immer besser. Ungeübte Autofahrer können aber auch auf "halbem Weg" stehenbleiben.
Die entzückenden Katzenkinder + Mutter soll man natürlich nicht füttern (werden anderseitig versorgt), ob das allerdings jemand schafft, ist zu bezweifeln...
Der Badeplatz ist nur für die Gäste, mit einem alten Surfbrett kann man paddelnderweise die Umgebeung vom Wasser aus anschauen. Der Zugang zum Meer hat im mittleren Bereich keine Stufen. Badeschuhe erleichtern das Hineingehen ins Meer.
Im Ort Paleiros gibt es entsprechende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und verschiedenste Tavernen. Unbedingt "the new windmill" (nächst der Kirche) ausprobieren.
Schöner kann ein Urlaubshaus nicht sein!

Ζευγάρι με παιδί ενός έτους. Couple with 1year old child. The location is ideal. The view is amazing with great panoramic sea view with sailing boats passing by and beautiful sunset and moon set . The moon could be seen from our main bedroom!
House is clean, very practically built, and fully equipped with emphasis in small details and beautiful Cyclades style architecture. Ilias the host provided excellent hospitality and made our stay memorable. For example he assisted us setting a safety net for our little one in the garden making the yard an amazing kid friendly playground . House is friendly for kids especially the ground floor without many danger spots, and in the garden has amenities and space where they can play some sports.
Although we are used to air conditioning, the fan system installed along with the location of the property and micro climate was sufficient and made our stay enjoyable .
The beach is a few meters from the house and although a bit rocky was excellent every day refreshment. In 15 minutes there is Pogonia beach with shallow waters for kids and 35 minutes Vathiavali beach which is excellent with crystal clear Lefkada style waters.
Great kitchen to cook fully equipped, nespresso machine even spices. Great mattresses made our sleep very restful.
