We had an amazing holiday.

The location was very scenic and private! Very Spacious. Very close to Florence and the High Speed Train Station.

A beautiful, spacious home with a great host, a well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely pool and garden.

We truly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel welcome and taken care of – very kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house itself is beautiful and incredibly spacious, which gave us plenty of room to relax both together and in our own corners when we wanted some quiet. The kitchen was a real highlight – fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, making it easy and fun to cook meals at home. We also loved the outdoor space: the pool was spotless, refreshing, and surrounded by a peaceful setting that made it perfect for lazy afternoons in the sun. All in all, it felt less like a rental and more like staying at a friend’s countryside home. A wonderful experience, and we would be very happy to return!

Exceptional stay

The villa and setting were amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. It is a converted wheat mill by a stream and lots of thought has gone into making it a comfortable accommodation, keeping some original features. The host, Niccolo was very helpful and did everything he could to make our stay very special. Highlights included dinner by a private chef, restaurant and pizzeria recommendations and a trip to an amazing local winery.

Narrow, steep road to get to the property so not suitable for big cars. Also lots of steps so not ideal for the less able.

Hosts were really exellent, very helpful, gave a lot of advices and were flexible during our late arrival (22pm). Everything in villa worked perfectly, property is equipped with almost everything you can imagine and you will need. Even with power adapters which we forgot to bring. All rooms except one are very large and well equipped, there is plenty of space around property. It is like a small Chateau. Garden and surrounding is beautiful, swimming pool is also quite big. Atmosphere in this very old villa is perfect as it is very sensitively renovated, still has it's charm.

Espresso coffee machine was probably only thing we missed (There is filter coffee machine though). Location is beautiful, but more shady than I would have liked as it is in a valley and built around a stream (villa is former water mill). It is probably advantage during hot summers. This unfortunately means that the view of the beautiful Tuscan countryside is missing. There is also no phone signal anywhere close around villa, but it might be also advantage...

The wardrobes are antique, which is nice, but not for use, because they have a musty smell. And maybe we should install a stove in the bathrooms for the transition period.

A beautiful place to stay for a relaxing Tuscan country getaway

The pool was beautiful! Every bedroom had its own bathroom. The house was lovely and cool and spacious and our hosts, Raffaele and Elise, are a lovely young couple who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The location too is perfect for day trips to Florence, Pisa and Lucca, even the Cinque Terre. A cool off in the pool after a hot day out, with cheese and wine on the terrace, was the icing on the cake!

Für eine größere Gruppe war die Unterkunft perfekt geeignet, auch weil sie vier Aktivitäten wie Tischtennist, Pool etc.

Die abgelegene Lage war perfekt für uns. Wir waren ganz für uns. Auch die Größe der Unterkunft hat sehr zu uns gepasst. Genug Platz für 12 Personen und jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Alles in allem sehr schön.

Fint poolområde, i övrigt en besvikelse.

Poolen är husets plus, det må vara långt från köket när man vill spendera hela dagen där men fin är den. Många toaletter och duschar och dom känns relativt nyrenoverade. Att det finns AC i de flesta utrymmen.

Det är extremt svårtillgängligt då man når huset via en serpentinväg där man måste tuta hela tiden för att inte krocka. På väg ner i ravinen försvinner mobilteckningen och man får förlita sig på husets WIFI. Huset består av mycket trappor och alla toaletter är på övervåningen förutom en, men den fick vi inte tillgång till. Huset luktar starkt invändigt av fukt. Det är ont om belysning och tänder man upp det lilla som finns börjar det blinka så man får släcka ner. Vi kunde inte sitta ute på kvällarna då det var så mycket mygg och flygmyror. Flera utomhusutrymmen som visas på bilderna när man hyr huset går inte att nyttja. Trädgården är vildvuxen och grillplatsen med dess träbänkar, motionscykeln med parasoll samt alla ytor intill vattendraget är tyvärr för nedgångna. Elen gick tredje dygnet men vi hade fått instruktioner om hur man åtgärdar det, detta löste vi själva utan problem. Fjärde kvällen gick strömmen i hela huset och efter en stund försvann även Wifi så vi kunde inte nå omvärlden. Strömavbrottet gjorde även att grindarna inte fungerade, och då vi ej fått en säkerhetsnyckel till grindarna kunde vi inte köra någonstans med bilarna. Vi hann kontakta värden som kom efter några timmar och åtgärdade detta via ett elskåp en bit ovanför huset. Vi hade bokat hela huset men toaletten och sovrummet på nedervåningen var ej förberett för oss när vi kom, för värden ansåg att vi inte var tillräckligt många (9 personer) trots att vi enligt avtalet bokat 6 sovrum och 5 toaletter men nu fick tillgång till färre. Vi är ej nöjda med värdens bemötande när vi påpekade detta.

Wie hatten eine perfekte Woche in dieser ausgergewöhnlichen Unterkunft und konnten so richtig abschalten.

Es gibt viele kleine besondere Dinge in der Unterkunft zu entdecken. Perfekt für große Gruppen oder Familien. Man bekommt gar nichts von der Außenwelt mit und kann sich so richtig entspannen. Der Pool ist wahnsinnig schön und bietet viel Platz. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Casale immerso nel verde, nella tranquillità. Proprietari gentili e disponibili. l'immobile è ben ristrutturato e funzionale, gli spazi sono ben curati e nulla è lasciato al caso. sicuramente da tornare per provare anche la stagione estiva con utilizzo della piscina!
