It’s a lovely setting in a beautiful unspoiled part of the world.

The room was a little small and it took a bit of navigating to get around it with two!

Breakfast was excellent - coffee could,d have been better. Enjoyed communal dining.

Seating facilities outside the cottage

A true gem of tradition in a natural setting. Impeccable service and delicious home-made food. Wish we could stay for much longer !

Beautiful surroundings, architecture and interiors, and the staff were all genuinely lovely and trying their best. Unfortunately, though, the property seemed understaffed during our stay, which meant long waits both to check in (around 45 minutes with a toddler) and to settle the bill. There were also a few practical issues: limited hot water for baths, no WiFi, and a rather lumpy mattress. Breakfast was modest compared with other places we stayed on this trip, despite this being the most expensive accommodation at around £190 for a two-room suite. None of these issues would matter too much if the property were positioned as a rustic homestay, but at its current pricing it feels closer to a boutique B&B experience, and at the moment it doesn’t quite meet that standard. A shame, as the setting and the people themselves are lovely.

They also should add more outdoor seating in the areas with a lovely view
