About this apartment rental

After entering our beautifully decorated condo from a private elevator, our hope is that you feel at home. The entire unit was recently updated by a well known interior designer; it's beachfront luxury at its finest.

402W is a spacious unit with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths that sleeps 10. It has over 3,500 square feet of living space. The balcony wraps around the whole condo and has great views of the ocean, beach and the intra-coastal waterway. This gourmet kitchen is equipped with stainless steel high end appliances including a double oven, a Miele dishwasher, and ice maker, new blender, and Keurig coffee maker.

Each bedroom has a private bath as well as a wall mounted TV. The master bath is equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, steam shower with 5 shower heads and a walk in closet. It also includes a beautiful sitting area with ocean views for miles. Kids will adore having their own bunk room.

The main living area is surrounded by a wall of windows that offer unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico. Our unit has cable and Wireless internet (WiFi). Smart HD TV in Living area. Guests have access to the Owner's collection of beach toys, chairs, and coolers in the storage unit. Air Conditioning updated Summer of 2018.

402 W is a prime location, and is walking distance to several restaurants, including Florabama.

Had a good time , condo was nice and clean. Had a problem with wash machine,Corey did send a person out but they did not get it clean , we were out when they came to fix the problem. My wife had to wipe out the inside of the washer to get it clean for we could use it took over an hour to rub whatever it was off, but after that we did in joy our time there. Corey did respond to our calls would stay there again like the area.

Beautiful and spacious condo for a family get together with 6 adults and 4 kids. Enjoyed the live music from florabama on the balcony and being walking distance to family bingo during the weekdays at the florabama. Corey was super responsive to a couple things that came up during the stay and remedied them immediately

Honestly, the property is beautiful. We loved that it was not crowded and the security of the place. However, the security did pose an issue for our older parents, but we were able to work through it. I would highly recommend the property. We had a wonderful time!

Condo was as advertised. Construction noise was much more than advertised from 9 am to 5pm daily (except weekends) Flora Bama next door was not a problem and we enjoyed having it so close. An ocean view out one way and a honky tonk view out the other was perfect.

Great stay for (2) families of 4 and the in-laws! Enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the Florabama. Condo is very quiet considering it’s next door neighbor- only heard the Florabama on Friday and Saturday night from the inside and it was nothing a sound machine couldn’t cancel out. Loved sitting on the balcony during the day and evening and listening to the live music. Host was very quick to respond to questions. We managed to have 3 cars and rotate them between the reserved spots and gravel lot across the street. 10/10 recommend

Our experience was pretty good. Condo was clean and well appointed. Beautiful setting and views. We were quite satisfied with the unit. We were not as satisfied with communication with the owner. We were given incorrect information for access to the unit. After a long day of traveling, it was very frustrating to have to contact owner and wait for access codes. We were also were not told that the main floor was under construction and we would not have use of the fitness center.

My sisters, cousins, Mom and aunt spend a week together at the beach every year. (We leave our husbands at home. lol) Up until last year, we stayed at the Turquoise Place. This was our 2nd year at the The Mediterranean. We love it! We love that it is a smaller complex; therefore, not as crowded. Our unit this year was perfect for our crew. And we LOVED the sitting area in the kitchen. We are already looking for our week to book for next year. Thanks for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

This place was absolutely amazing! From the huge living space, to the wrap around balcony, to the short walk to the beach, this was the perfect condo for our annual mom’s beach trip. The unit was very clean and well kept. The property itself had many safety features like fobs for entering the elevator, room, and beach access. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!

Our stay in Perdido was incredible. This condo was perfect for our family vacation! We had ages13 to 88 and all had a great time. There was ample room for everyone, we can't wait to go back! Excellent location, well maintained property, beautiful beach, and live music. It doesn't get any better!

This was a beautiful property that we were definitely sad to leave! There were 10 of us altogether, and there was plenty of space. The views and beach were amazing. We took a dolphin tour out of Orange Beach one day which was great as well. The pools were nice to have when we needed a break from the sand. We have rented multiple places in the panhandle, this was definitely everyone's favorite!

Property fit the needs of nine 60+ women. However, the carpet was filthy, had to wash towels daily-not enough for a 4 bedroom condo, the appliances were somewhat odd and hard to figure out (its not like we women haven’t cooked in our lives), the outdoor furniture was sufficient but not comfy! The couch was very roomy but also very uncomfortable! The kitchen sufficiently equipped but needed some updating. The response of our needs was extremely good! Cory was very responsive. Love the room in the condo, love the location but the condo needs some TLC. Our group of women have been coming to Florida for 40 years so we know condos!

This unit is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spacious for a large family. The balcony is large and allows the whole family to sit outside together. Kelly is responsive and makes checking in and out a breeze. Best place on Perdido Key!

Great stay for family

Fabulous place for family stay. Large rooms to allow everyone to hang out and eat together. Master bedroom has fabulous views (you may never want to leave your room) and a luxurious bathroom. The other bedrooms are located at the other end of the condo. The bunkbed room is perfect for the kids who want to sleep together. The extra lounge seat in the one bedroom makes for a perfect spot for a little one to stay who wants to sleep in same room with the parents. Just some things to be aware of (not necessarily negatives). Other than the master bedroom, the bedrooms do not have dressers or a place to take your clothes out of the suitcases or travel bags. The kitchen does not have any type of left over storage containers (bowls with lids) and all the eating plates are breakable so if you want any plastic plates or storage containers, bring your own. Also this unit is adjacent to Flora Bama so if you are light sleeper, the music from the bar is loud enough to keep you awake. Parking is a challenge as we were told guests could park across the street and then we got a towing notice and were told we could not park in the private parking area owned by Flora Bama. Lovely views from the balcony and short walk to the beach. The use of the owner storage locker also was an added convenience to store your beach equipment instead of in the room.

The condo is in a well maintained building and it’s awesome to have the elevator take you to your front door of condo! The view and balcony is fantastic! The unit is very large and was great space for our family of 10. Our twins loved running around the extra large balcony and we enjoyed the live music daily from Flora-bama! The condo itself was NOT cleaned well at all. There was trash behind and under the beds, sand on the floor, food on the wall behind stove top & someone’s swim trunks and boxers left on the balcony! I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. I did bring my own cleaning supplies- so I spent an hour cleaning the bathrooms, kitchen, spraying door knobs (COVID) and vacuuming. I also was surprised to see the condition of the condo was different from the photos. The carpets has stains in all the bedrooms, some of the furniture had stains on it. The guest bedroom area was a bit warm but not unbearable. As others have said the oven and stovetop are a bit tricky to figure out. Overall the location and size of condo are great; however, it maybe time to check into the cleaning crew used in the condo and change up the carpet to spruce it back up.

We headed to the beach in the first tropical depression of the year. However, the storm passed quickly and the water cleared. There was a good bit of seaweed washed ashore which was never cleared. The view and location from Mediterranean 402W is amazing. We loved the short walk to the ocean and the fact the beach area is not crowded. Beach chair service is available. The outside wrap around deck was great for all the family to gather and to listen to the good music from the Flora Bama. The checking in experience was a bit tricky and we had the wrong codes. However, the owner answered the phone quickly when I called and sent us an update. The option to use the owners storage area was wonderful. There were beach toys, a beach wagon and much more. The decor and inside of the condo was very nicely done. The curtains were a bit difficult to open and close. The kitchen was very well stocked. The upper oven was broken, but the lower one worked fine. But, there was an amazing indoor grill and two wonderful coffee makers available. There is no filtered water in the refrigerator door so bring plenty of bottled water. There is a built in ice maker which was super convenient. . The skillets and pans were a bit worn. You might bring one good skillet. Due to the weather and the Covid, we cooked in most nights. Grocery delivery was available through Instacart. The Waffle House across the street has a great “to go” breakfast. Also, the Perdido Fish Market is 11 minutes away. Wonderful selection and they will steam your shrimp. The beds were very comfortable. The private baths for each room were large and amazing. The biggest problem we had was cooling the three back bedrooms. They were always too warm at night even with ceiling fans and closing curtains all day. The master bedroom was actually quite cool and comfortable. Another thing we especially loved was the comfortable seating area next to the kitchen. It was perfect for visiting and family game time! This was the biggest and best arranged condo we have ever had at the beach. We have been coming to this area for years. But, this was our first stay at Perdido Key. We had the beast beach visit ever this year in spite of the weather and the virus! We will definitely be back!!

After arriving, we found 2 rooms that had not been cleaned with some belongings left behind. Some of our guests had to stay at a hotel due to this issue for the first night. Cleaning crew arrived at noon the next day and took care of the issue. Great location, just extremely frustrating to start a trip off like that and have the added expense and inconvenience of our party staying at a hotel the first night.

My family and extended family fit beautifully. All commented on the beautiful condo accomodations. I agree with previous renters that it looks better in person. Using The stove and oven take patience and getting used to but we used it a lot successfully. Lost Key is the place to go golf. Cobalt is the place for sunset and dinner. Florabama isn’t loud when doors are closed and just right when you want it. We would rent this again!
