Mae Phim, Rayong, Bali Residence Villa

The pool was ok but not safe for non-swimmer children. The house was clean.

The location was not good. Transport necessary. Parking inside the house very difficult. Narrow with vegetation that scraped. Air con in sitting-room not closed by any doors so blew and blew.

The villa had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The village was beautifully kept with a nice pool area & very good bar/restaurant. We actually had our dinner delivered from the pool to the villa every evening & also lunch in one day. As we had our 2 dogs with us it was more relaxed for us to eat at the villa, both great indoor or al fresco dining in the lovely garden/terrace area. On that note the garden is enclosed, therefore, ideal & safe for the boys to wander around without worrying about them running riot in the village. We had transport & found a shortcut via the back roads which took us to the main beach in a 5 minute drive. We took the puppies to silver beach each morning for a good workout & it is only about 5-10mins by car also - beach was quieter - saw couple of Thai beach dogs which were friendly so no stress. All in all we enjoyed Bali Residence & wouldn't hesitate to book again in the future when visiting Laem Mae Phim

Gate to driveway needs a bolt from bottom of gate to ground - as it only has bolt at top of gate it can be pushed open from inside by eager doggies wanting attention from passers by. Had to look for towels which were in bedroom closet - small gripe but would be nice to just leave them on bed so as not to have to go looking.
