A little disappointing for a cyclist, but v clean, good food, & courteous -- if very busy -- staff.

A lively auberge, which is clearly locally well-liked for its restaurant. The food was well cooked, and the service efficient -- though under pressure, given the number of staff to guests.

In our experience, it was not very cycle friendly. The owners insisted we left the bikes at the back of the auberge, against the gate / fence of a field. This was a first for me, on the continent. Bikes not allowed in rooms, no garage / lock-up / shed / cover provided. We may just have caught them at a particularly busy moment -- just before dinner started. Still, it was surprising. When leaving the room, a good charger was left behind in a socket. (Our mistake, obviously.) However, after email the auberge we were told that the charger could not be found. The beds may not be to your liking (or may be to your liking) as they were some kind of memory foam. Also we visited during the heatwave, and there was no means of cooling in the room -- no fan, no airconditioning.

Nice location. Food was cooked well and friendly.

We were disappointed with the items in the room. The television was very small, there was no cupboard or draws to put your clothes in. You only had 1 pillow each which was very thin. The shower was small.

Nous avons été vraiment bien accueillis. Le personnel a été aux petits soins pour chacun d'entre nous (adultes comme les enfants). Nous avons dîner sur place le soir et c'était de qualité. Lieu au calme. C'est une adresse que nous retenons, que nous recommandons et à laquelle nous reviendrons.

L'auberge est en pleine forêt, au calme. Le personnel est très attentif. Le petit déjeuner était très correct. Nous avons mangé le soir au restaurant et les plats sont simples mais copieux. Le rapport qualité/prix est très bien.

Il n'y avait pas de rideaux dans la chambre et notre fenêtre donnait sur le rond-point sur lequel il y avait une lumière clignotante qui s'est réverbérée toute la nuit dans notre chambre.

L'emplacement facile à trouver et proche de notre objectif. La propreté Charcuterie du restaurant très bonnes

Le fait que l'on me court après continuellement et même jusque sur le parking pour payer mes dépenses sur place petit déjeuner, repas le soir, boissons etc comme si j'allais m'envoler alors que dès Le premier jour j'ai demandé si il était possible de mettre nos dépenses sur mon compte et que l'on m'a dit oui. Cela aurait été plus simple de faire une seule carte bleue à la fin comme c'est le cas d'habitude. Quant au restaurant vraiment dommage avec une fondue que l'on ne nous ai pas proposé lors de la prise de commande frites ou pomme de terre quand j'en parle au serveur sa réponse à été c'était à vous de nous le dire sinon on met d'office des frites 🤔🤔 cette réponse m'a laissé sans voix. Banana split qui ressemble à tout sauf à un banana split qui pourtant n'est pas une chose compliqué à bien présenté. Le petit déjeuner décevant dans un endroit comme celui ci on peut s' attendre quand même à autre chose c'était loin de valoir le prix, un bout de pain sec et un croissant une compote premier prix et la confiture en gelée premier prix également je suis sûre qu'il y a dans la région de bon producteur... Support de douche en verre cassé et dangereux Chambre des plus basiques

J'ai réservé une chambre dans cet hotel sur booking le 11 aout à 11 h pour la nuit du 15 au 16 aout. J'ai reçu immédiatement la confirmation de ma réservation. je me suis donc présenté en toute confiance à cet hotel le 15 aout vers 17 h, et là grosse surprise: l'hôtelier m'indique que l'hôtel est complet et que booking ne lui a pas communiqué ma réservation (faite pourtant 4 jours plus tôt). Etant donné que dans le week end du 15 aout la totalité des hotels affichent complets j'ai du parcourir 250 kms pour rentrer chez moi et repartir le lendemain. Mais ce n'est pas tout: le 16 aout au matin booking m'écrit que l'hôtel indique que je ne me suis pas présenté: c'est un comble. Là vraiment il y a quelqu'un qui se moque des clients: Est-ce l'hôtelier ou bien Booking. J'espère avoir une réponse de Booking car je ne pense pas qu'elle vienne de l'hôtel.

Idéal pour un court séjour reposant avec un très bon rapport qualité-prix (hôtel et restaurant)

Un accueil très agréable du patron et de son fils. L'établissement, à dimension humaine, est idéalement situé au coeur de la forêt de Tronçais. Les chambres sont confortables et correctement équipées. Un sas à l'entrée (double porte) permet une meilleure isolation sonore. Le restaurant propose une carte simplifiée mais de qualité. Je conseille le hamburger maison "auvergnat" (vrai pain frais, vrai steak et belle tranche de Saint-Nectaire). Petit déjeuner simple mais abordable (8,50 euros). Très agréable de le prendre en terrasse avec vue directe sur les chênes centenaires. Cet hôtel restaurant est idéal pour un week-end de ressourcement au calme avec toutes les prestations nécessaires sur place. Facilités de stationnement.
