About this cabin rental
Our home is on 12 acres tucked away in the National Forest bordering 2 sides of the property in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. Our home offers privacy having no neighbors. Total relaxation with the sounds of nature and two creeks that border the house. This cozy little home is a two bedroom one bath house with a large covered porch with plenty of wildlife. Enjoy the beauty of the forest. Hike mountain trails without having to leave the property. Curl up on the front porch, watch the birds nest and listen to the babbling creeks.
Close to white water rafting, kayaking and boating on Lake Chatuge. The Area offers miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding and has close access to the Appalachian Trail. There are 5 golf courses in the immediate area including Brasstown Valley Resort, Mountain Harbour and Chatuge Shores, We are just a few minutes to the renowned Georgia Mountain Fair Grounds, 20 minute to the William Holland School of Lapidary and 30 minutes to the John C. Campbell Folk School.

A VERY secluded rustic cabin in the woods, was awesome, peaceful & just what we wanted in order to relax & breathe again!Had a little difficulty finding the place as the phone GPS sent us on a goose chase! Loved the bubbling brook! Lots of steps to haul our belongings up & down! Had 2 really great campfires around the rainy week. Lots of deer around the area but none on the property that we saw.Our dog (boxer-bulldog mix) LOVED running around & playing in the brook! He learned how to do the stairs there! The house is set up very well. Very comfortable with homey touches. Took us awhile to get our directions secured getting on & off the driveway to the house. We had a great week with VERY comfortable temperatures compared to everywhere else! Would return in the future hands down!! Thanks Karin!

The little blue house in Hiawassee is the perfect location for peace and quiet, nestled in the woods between two creeks, but it is not too far from all of the amenities in Hiawassee. We saw loads of wildlife, including deer and turkeys, and the quiet gurgling of the creeks provided the perfect backdrop for rest and relaxation. It is also not too far from many of the attractions in the southern mountains, including Helen, Brasstown Bald, and Clayton, and it’s close enough that we tubed in Bryson City and rafted the Nantahala. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there.
