- Captain Anderson’s Restaurant is a “don’t miss”. It is still a 5 star restaurant with reasonable prices. Plan to be there a 5pm and see the fishing boats arrive and unload their catch - - - also book your fishing trip here.
- Other recommended restaurants: Boar’s Head, Boon Dock’s, Hunt’s Oyster Bar at St. Andrews Bay, Angelo’s Steak House, Pineapple Willy’s and others in the Panama City, Destin, Seaside, Sea Grove, Water Color, and Rosemary Beach Area.
- Speaking of Destin, it’s only 30 minutes traveling on a new 4 lane Hwy. There are 175 Outlet Stores, great Restaurants and much, much more. Seaside is only a short distance away. This stretch of Beach from Panama City Beach to Destin is still considered the “hottest real estate” in the country. You have to see to believe!

The condo was nice and clean upon arrival but I would advise you to bring a box fan as the AC system does not seem capable of being able to maintain a temperature of less than 75 degrees during the prime heat of the day. Overnight it was able to cool the unit down but the fan downstairs in the living room does not go very fast. The owner was very responsive when we had questions and the location is fantastic in proximity to the beach access. The beds are comfy and having a king size is a plus. Also bring your own putters and golf balls if you intend of playing putt-putt on the resort property as these are not included with this unit unless you want to pay the resort a fee (I think it's 5 - not sure if that is per person or not). I would recommend anyone to stay at this property for the price point and location.

Pros:
The location was a short walk from the beach in a gated community. It is across the street from the beach. Overall it was the most affordable place to stay that weekend by the beach. It is near everything!
Cons:
The unit could use a deep cleaning. The furniture was dated and flimsy. It was so much dust on the top of the walls and pictures that I went and bought a Swiffer duster to dust my room with. Lots of finger smudges on light switches & walls (Luckily I brought Clorox wipes). The white sheets were stained on the king bed. The washing machine was very old but it works. New furniture, carpet cleaning, and a paint job would make this place so much better. After I cleaned the areas I was able to sleep comfortably. Also could add a golf cart like the other units had to drive to the gate to the beach for people with mobility issues.
