Welcome to BEACHSIDE BLISS…Your rustic, charming coastal escape awaits! Watch the sunrise as you sip your favorite cup of coffee under the pines in Adirondack chairs, play amongst the waves or in shell filled tide pools which are perfect for little ones. Spend the day with family and friends or relaxing alone as you soak up the rays, stroll along the beach, read a book, kayak or fish. Savor your time inside enjoying the gulf breeze or the wrap around porch. Serve a family style meal of freshly caught or freshly bought seafood at the large dining table. Enjoy the sunset over a tropical drink, then marvel at the celestial body above as you have never seen it before. Drift off to sleep as you listen to the waves and the wind in the palms.
The kitchen and downstairs bathroom have been recently renovated. There are all Queen beds in this 3BR/2B home. The home can sleep 10-12! Covered parking is available for 2 cars. The house is a smoke free environment. For added connivence and comfort, there are 2 refrigerators, a washer and dryer and cable TV.
When you decide you need a beach break, more fun can be had in near by Panacea (Gulf Specimen Marine Lab and Aquarium, dinner overlooking the Ochlockonee River at Angelo’s Restaurant, local seafood at My Way Seafood), Carabelle (Camp Gordon Johnston WW2 Museum, Crocked River Lighthouse, shopping and a grocery store), St, George Island (St. George Island Lighthouse, Journeys of St. George Island for kayak rentals and seaside charters and educational experiences, dining and shopping), and Apalachicola (a place to view historic homes, The Gibson Inn, The Maritime Museum, bay tours, a variety of restaurants, and search for antiques or in vogue clothing and home accessories.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beachside Bliss. The beach was outstanding except for all the dogs running loose. The fishing wasn't too bad. We caught as many catfish as we cared to but also a giant redfish and some some black sea bass. House was nice. A little small for our group of 12 teenagers and adults in the evening when it was cool (because it was too cold out on the porch) Also the one shower was well used. The porch was a great place to have our meals and the kitchen was decently stocked. We bought most of seafood at My Way Seafood in Panacea. They were outstanding!

Cant beat the location and access to the beach. The house had a lot of space and the backyard opens to the beach. There were beach chairs and toys for kids, which was very helpful. It’d have been a 5 star stay except for a couple of things. There is only 1 full bath, and doors to both bathrooms were non-functional. Also, a storm went through the area and knocked out water and wi-fi. We got the water back in the evening and dint hear back from the contact on wi-fi for remainder of the stay.
