New beautiful bathroom and a contemporary brand new, fully equipped kitchen that has a microwave, a refrigerator, an oven, a stove and a washer/dryer. The entrance to the apartment is separate and private.
Enjoy charming outdoor seating with a fabulous view of the San Francisco Bay complete with an herb garden which tea drinkers and cooks are welcome to enjoy.
Walking distance to: Berkeley’s “Gourmet Ghetto” on Shattuck Ave., Solano Avenue shopping and boutiques, and easy access to beautiful hiking trails. Only a 20 minute walk or 7 minute bus ride to downtown Berkeley (the bus stop is just a few steps from the house), and the University of California at Berkeley is just 1.5 miles away. For those with cars, convenient street parking is always available.

Yes the hosts were very communicative and welcoming. Lovely fresh cake, wine and chocolates upon arrival. I would only caution future guests that there are step stairs leading to the studio. It would not be appropriate for someone with mobility issues.

Lovely, quiet studio. Perfect size for one or two people. Hosts were very nice and left some sweet treats. Highly recommended if you’re staying in the area.
