About this apartment rental
The building is superbly situated in the centre of the village close to all amenities including great places to walk, a thriving fishing harbour, yacht club, Deer Park public golf club, restaurants, bars and public transport including the DART train service taking you directly into Dublin city, so no need for a car. However, if you decide to have a car there are two underground parking spaces available which at peak season is a great advantage as there are a lot of tourists and limited parking. The apartment is the front ground floor left section of the building overlooking the harbor. While the building is situated centrally it is a quiet, secure & tranquil place where you can enjoy life passing by without any noise or fuss. In the summer & spring time you can enjoy your morning coffee on the back patio which is south facing .The furnishings and decor are a quality that you would not typically find in a holiday rental with artworks and antiques akin to a 5 star hotel. The main living room is a very generous sized room with Feature high ceilings and oversized windows and has a separate dinning area. The main bedroom has a queen size bed & an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is a generous sized with a double bed and is next to the main bathroom. There is a separate kitchen that is well equipped with high spec fittings. All bed linens and towels are supplied and are of 5 star quality. The apartment exudes warmth and hospitality of the owners who are on hand in Howth to ensure you have a very enjoyable stay.

Anne's place is just as lovely as the photos. It's spacious, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you might need during your stay. The location is perfect - near the water, the Dart station, and coffee shops and restaurants. It's walking distance to a grocery store as well. It is an exceptional place to stay. We had a wonderful time during our visit.

The location, the host, the home...all wonderful. I highly recommend you stay here when visiting Howth, Ireland! This will be the only place I stay should I be so fortunate to visit again. Absolutely fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful location and a very comfortable place to enjoy. Disappointing no access to TV or even radio. Host indicated Netflix was available but we could never access. Either way the accommodations were comfortable clean and accessible.

Dublin is awesome. No argument from me. But when you travel for work 6+ months of the year in pre-arranged hotels decided upon without your consultation, a true vacation home is needed. Howth fit the bill! Upon initial communication to check in, we were well attended. Upon entering the property, I was overwhelmed by how BEAUTIFUL the layout is. Pictures convinced me but being in person almost made me cry in joy. Our time there with a friend was most comfortable. My only complaint is, we had so many activities planned we didn't just STAY IN THE RENTAL all day. The sounds, smells and vistas were a delight from our front windows; at night the bedrooms situated in the rear allowed for quiet and deep sleep. DART was very easy to use for transit into and out of Dublin proper in a matter of 20 minutes and few EUROS. DO take the local "Howth" Bike tour for a proper intro to the area and should you be there on a Sunday, take in the Abbey Tavern for dinner and the show-- our friends our locals and have been performing there for a couple of generations--fabulous. Between VRBO, Airnnb and HomeStay, our trips to Europe have been fantastic. Thank you Anne and Pat for your genuine hospitality.... We hope to return again someday and get more golfing in...and just sitting in your rental.
