Starfish Hyams Beach with WIFI - 4pm check-out on Sundays

The kitchen far better equipped than most, I cooked lots of meals and desserts. Really appreciated the shot glasses for our rakia, not usual to find in a rental property. And the cheese board. Huge fridge and freezer, easy to cater for 8 for five days. Lovely walk to the beautiful beaches (both directions). Close enough to walk back to get cold drinks and snacks for the family without having to wait half an hour at the Cooked Goose to buy drinks. Very quiet and easy to sleep at night. Surrounded by trees and birds, we saw black cockatoos, wattle birds and heaps of kookaburras right outside on the balcony. The parking space was very easy to use and flat, given houses there are on such a steep slope.

A fabulous home and a fabulous host. Close enough to easily walk to the beach, even with very young kids, but not so close as to be in the craziness of the crowds. The property is quiet and has everything you could need.

Good location, well stocked kitchen.One double bedroom is in a loft with no privacy/door.

The location and cleanliness of the property was good and we generally enjoyed our stay. The facilities provided by the property were also good. However, there were downsides to the stay including being constantly monitored by the next door neighbour and the property manager turning up at the property to question our group about the stay. We did not appreciate the neighbour watching us from her balcony the entire weekend - it made us feel uncomfortable and we couldn’t entirely enjoy our stay. We also felt very uncomfortable when the property manager arrived at the property and questioned us about our stay. Our group was very respectful, very clean and did not make any excessive noise so we did not appreciate being interrogated by the property manager mid way through the stay. We have stayed at many properties and have never experienced the above. As a result of the above, we will not be staying at this property again.
