About this cottage rental
This small country cottage is perfect for a couple or small family looking to escape to the Raystown Lake region. This one bedroom, three-quarter bath cottage is in close proximity to our other rental property making it convenient to join your extended family for a memorable getaway. The peaceful views of the ridges around Raystown from the back deck are a guest favorite. There is private access from the deck to the large backyard where guests can enjoy a picnic or a campfire with plenty of room to play fetch with your furry friends!
The cottage is just three miles from the Seven Points recreation area that includes access to public boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, dining, camping, and biking on the Allegrippis Trails.
While you are only a five minute drive from lake, you are just seven miles from the conveniences of 24-hour shopping and restaurants in the town of Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, eight miles from the quaint campus of Juniata College, thirty-five miles from the excitement of Altoona Curve baseball and shopping at the Logan Valley Mall, and forty miles from Penn State University including Penn State football at Beaver Stadium and a wide variety of events at the Bryce Jordan Center.

The property was an excellent gateway for my wife and I the owner has on hand pretty much everything needed to prepare a fresh warm meal the only thing missing is a set of mixing bowls. It has a nice fire pit out back to do some smores and enjoy the evening watching the stars.
