About this cottage rental
Long Hollow Cottage is a charming, family-friendly lakefront property that sleeps 10 comfortably. It is an original lake house with wood floors, wood ceiling beams and oak paneling throughout that has been lovingly restored and furnished with modern conveniences. The main cabin features a cozy living room. Master bedroom with a king size bed and renovated master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed, large windows with water views and an ensuite bathroom. The family room has a comfortable seating area and a farm table that seats 10. The large screened porch overlooks the lake and has a seating area and outdoor dining table. The main cabin also has a well appointed kitchen and board game room with reading nook.
A separate guest house is steps away and has a large bedroom that sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a twin day bed with trundle, cute sitting room and full bathroom. A separate laundry room is located in an outbuilding beside the outdoor patio.
A very short, easy, walk takes you to the lake shore and large covered dock with single boat slip and plenty of room to relax and enjoy the open water views. The large bay provides a protected area for swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Keith Bridge Park is within short walking distance and offers a boat ramp, parking, sandy beach, swimming area, walking trails, picnic areas with grills and a small playground.

Had a great time. Docked right on the lake. Loved the lake view. Parking is a bit challenging but we made it work.

Comfortable, serene home with a pretty view. Perfect setting for Thanksgiving week with our family of four. Very clean and charming with just the right amount of rustic. Cozy but plenty of space. A couple of downsides: the steep, gravel driveway was difficult to maneuver. Also, walking on the steep driveway and the stone patio/courtyard (which is awesome, btw) would be very challenging for anyone with mobility issues, due to steps and unevenness in some spots.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time!

The Lanier Lake Cottage was wonderful. Very cute and rustic, but still had all of the necessary amenities. Lake access is super easy and the dock was really nice. The driveway was a bit of a challenge but it is manageable.
