Fulfill your dream of a romantic vineyard getaway in Bordeaux wine country. Lovely enclosed porch to sip wine overlooking the vineyards. Large open living room. Spacious bedroom, excellent mattress, hardwood floors. Charming decor with original art. Beautiful tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. Wonderful views. Ductless remote-controlled heat and air conditioning. Cute, well-stocked kitchen. Step outside to stroll the vineyards and enjoy the gardens.

The cottage was spacious, cozy and warm along with great decor. Being part of the vineyard made it special and close to many different points of interest. Will be back!

This is our 3rd stay at the Merlot cottage. Step could use a railing for us older folks

The location and setting on the vineyard are nice. There were however several disappointments and frustrations.
There is no cable tv in the house. If you don't mind accessing everything online, then this house is for you. There was however Netflix set on the previous renters profile settings.
Upon arrival, the cottage was very musty and the bathroom smelled like cats. After a thorough airing out it was fine, but this should be done prior to check ins.
The bathroom door would not close, and the main door had to be slammed each time, to lock.
In four days, no fresh towels were provided or offered. On the shelf were sets of two bath, face and wash cloths for the duration.
We will research other properties in the future. Perhaps the cottages next door at Plum Beach farm.
