Clean and cozy 3 Bedroom Ranch located in quiet beach area. Near historic Monroe, Michigan. 2 Queen beds 2 Fulls and a twin. Master has full private bathroom. Open concept living room, dining room, Kitchen. Bedrooms have Hardwood floors, Central Air. Washer and Dryer included for guests staying 7 or more nights. Fully furnished Kitchen. Directv and WIFI internet. Large private backyard and deck with Gas Grill. A short walk to private beach on Lake Erie, please note water levels do vary and beach are can be quite small at times and under water, it is still open for use, however. Short 15 mile drive to Toledo, Detroit and Ann Arbor are about 30 miles to the North and West. Restaurants, Churches, bars, grocery, and State Park are nearby (mins drive). Lake Erie offers great fishing opportunities as well. Two private parks and ball fields nearby. Great for the business traveler as well. Smoking/vaping are not allowed inside. See rules for details.

Overall it was good but my only complaint was the washer and dryer was apart of the amenities but is only available to those staying past 5 days. And then having to go out of the way to find a laundry facility when there is one in the home was a big inconvenience

Good Stay to visit Henry Ford Museum

Our visit was to visit the Henry Ford Museum, Lake Erie, and to do some walking. The house is about 35 minutes from the museum, which worked out fine for us. Sterling State Park is about 3 minutes away, and is a really nice park for walking and seeing the birds of the marsh areas. We also saw a river otter! Sterling also has a very nice beach and swim area. There is a $10 day use charge. I also recommend going to the Raisin River National Park visitor center to learn about a very important Revolutionary War area. We love learning new history info! The only drawback was the private beach in the listing. It is a little patch of sand, and not really a place we felt we wanted to swim. The house was as listed, with what we needed for cooking and sleeping.

This is our second time renting this vacation home. It is absolutely perfect for our needs. When I knew we needed a place to stay for a long weekend, I was hoping Paul still had his home available and was excited to see it was available for the dates we needed. It just feels like our home away from home! Plus you can't beat that it is just a short walk from the lake!! Paul is very easy to work with and is in communication with you from the start. If you have questions, he is just a text message away. Definitely recommend this property!!

Paul was very nice and I felt like I could easily communicate with him. The check in process was great! The house was clean and nice. The kitchen had everything we needed to do a little cooking during our stay. Very quiet neighborhood!! The neighborhood beach area was only a short distance down the road. I wish we had gotten up early to watch the sunrise! The nearby William C Sterling State Park was nice as well. This home is in a good location for visiting Toledo and/or Detroit.

We loved our time spent here. The house was very clean and everything was in perfect working order. All items mentioned in the listing matched exactly to reality. The check in process was easy and the owner was quick to respond when we had questions before we arrived there and during our stay there. We loved the location between Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Toledo. And the neighborhood borders Sterling State Park which has a wonderful beach and 3.5 mile loop through a beautiful lagoon with a ton of birds. We would highly recommend this house!

Paul's home was what he had advertised. The house was clean, comfortable and the neighbor was pleasant as well. My only gripe would be having to pay 10.00 extra for every hour you want to check in early. Not a huge deal and it's better than not being able to check in early at all but with guys like me who come just for 2.5 days of fishing we try to make the 6 hour drive by 1 or 2 PM so we can get a 1/2 day of fishing in. With giving Paul 48 hours of notice or more maybe this fee should be waived? Regardless its really not a big deal and we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend Paul's home.

Paul was a great host that responded quickly to any questions. The house was very clean and comfortable. Would book again and recommend to others. The only suggestion that I would make is that it would be nice to have more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and a roll of paper towels would have been handy in the kitchen.

We had a wonderful girl's weekend. Great CLEAN home. Nice Host. Small nitpick, we didn't find any dish cloths and/or dish towels in kitchen and we only had 4 bath towels for 4 women with lots of hair, no big deal, we made it work. It was an awesome place, we made great memories. We would book again.

My stay was an extended one-6 weeks. It didn't take me long to feel like I was at home. A quiet neighborhood with easy access to grocery stores and an ample supply of restaurants nearby. Within 45 minutes of both Toledo to the south and Detroit to the north. It was an enjoyable stay!
