Lakefront cottage with sandy beach, lawn, and canoe for exploring Sokokis Lake. Nestled in the rolling hills of the dramatic Presidential Mountain Range in the historic town of Limerick. Antique shops, restaurants, ice cream and pizza parlor located less than a mile away from the cottage.
Limerick (population 2,000) was established in 1771 by James Sullivan and named for his hometown in Ireland. Activities include swimming, fishing, and canoeing. Enjoy the passage of time by the sounds of water on the lake. One of Maine's nine remaining historic wooden covered bridges in the town of Porter is a short drive away.
Limerick is less than an hour west from Portland and one and a half hours north of Boston and Manchester, New Hampshire. Although located in the heart of the southern Maine woods, Limerick is only 30 minutes from southern beaches & Sebago Lake and only 45 minutes from Portland, and North Conway, N.H. $1,300/week plus 9% Maine State Tax.

We loved the lake being right out our back door. The beds were very comfortable. The host was available when we had any questions. Fishing was great! We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful there.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The lake was stunning, the cottage was clean, the amenities were plentiful, and the hosts were friendly. We are hoping to return next summer!

Very relaxing stay at Sokokis Lake in this comfortable house. Good restaurants nearby, kayaks available to explore the lake, peaceful beach area to sit and read.Our second stay!

I stayed at this property for two weeks and to be honest, the best property I've stayed at since I'm been renting lake houses in Maine for the past 6 years. Ronald and his family were very nice and accommodating and let me know if I needed anything. The place itself was great. Everything was included and very convenient. Nice shady yard with a nice sandy beach that leads right to the lake. Very nice! Air Conditioning in the upstairs bedroom, nice and cool downstairs. Couple of canoes and small aluminum boat available. Fishing was great, even from the dock. Thank you and I hope to stay here again next year!!
