About this house rental
NOTICE - Mount Airy Farm was fortunate to NOT be impacted by the recent flooding and winds that affected so many areas in and around Asheville. We have consistent water, power and high speed internet, and all roads to our estate are in perfect condition. Miraculously not even a tree fell on out property.
Mount Airy Farm is an outstanding private luxury estate on 38 acres, pet-friendly, with breathtaking views EVERYWHERE you turn! Just 25 easy minutes to downtown Asheville this is a perfect place for family retreats, romantic escapes, wedding celebrations*, and holidays. You will enjoy the cool evenings next to a cozy outdoor fireplace overlooking the infinity pool and gorgeous mountain views. Take a hike on our land or have a family tennis tournament while others cheer you on from the court balcony. The luxurious master bedroom is expansive with a sauna, extra large tub/rainfall shower and a private terrace overlooking the pool and the beautiful valley. Sharing meals is always special here as guests and family gather in the kitchen around the huge island while breakfast or dinner is being prepared. Evenings you might light up the grill off the vast deck area or sit just outside, share a drink and watch another magical sunset!
There could not be a more perfect or beautiful place in our mountains to spend time together with the ones you love! We hope you will join us!
If you need additional accommodations, we have another property, just a short bike ride away. Our Whispering Creek property is approximately a 1/2 mile from Mount Airy for an additional $225 per night.
Helicopter services are available, you can be picked up at the AVL airport and flown to the property, or arrange for a one or two hour tour of the region, they will pick you up at Mount Airy.

We hosted our wedding weekend and have nothing but positive things to say about the property, the home, the amenities, and the property managers! It was the perfect space to have our friends and family stay with us to celebrate. We played tennis, swam in the heated pool, used the sauna and of course got married on the property! Mark and the caretaker were super helpful and responsive and made the whole weekend go so smoothly. The home and grounds were clean and maintained, and the views are to die for!

The views outside the front of the property AND the back are just amazing. The caretakers were very kind and responsive to our needs. Great location!

Stunning mountain views from front and back of property. Accommodated 50 guests comfortably for ceremony, reception, and welcome party. The caretakers live in a separate guest house on the property and were very helpful with anything we needed (thank you). Staying for 4 nights gave us time to relax and enjoy the pool and spa after the wedding. If you're looking for a mountain wedding venue, look no further!
