About this cottage rental
This Tanque Verde Valley Desert Casa is situated on our 3.5 acres property in the north east area of Tucson. The Casa is adjacent to the main house where the owners live full time. We have been providing accommodations for visitors for over 8 years, most returning year after year. Our visitors have enriched our lives and become friends.
Our philosophy is to respect your privacy yet provide the amenities that make ones visit to Tucson exceptional..
The location, we believe, has the best of everything. The general neighborhood is rural in feeling with abundance of birds, hiking and a place for quiet relaxation. The Casa is within walking distance is Agua Calliente Park, a beautiful oasis , a special place for bird watching and short hiking. Additionally, there is a variety of wildlife with towering Saguaros on the property. Grocery shopping, drug stores and restaurants are short distance away. Downtown Tucson and the University of Arizona located about 20 minutes drive from the Desert Casa.
The Casa is about 800 square feet providing 3 rooms. A modern fully equipped kitchen, plus the spacious sitting and eating areas make up the great room. Large flat screen HD/TV and DVD player with a large supply of movies are provided. The separate bedroom has a Queen size bed, small fireplace and desk and closet. A bath off the bedroom features a shower.
The natural desert area provides a backyard fire pit, sitting areas and a panorama view of the desert and the Catalina Mountains. Out the front are views of the Rincon Mountains.
