About this house rental
Don't choose a house out of site of the lake, Sit on the 2nd story deck and look over the lake in the summer, fall, winter, or spring. Our house is conveniently located in walking distance to the restaurants, or split rock. The Lake is directly across the street and there is a public access point! Hickory Run state park is a 10 minute drive for hiking trails. For the winter our house is 1.5 miles from Big Boulder and 3 miles from Jack Frost ski area. The house has 4 bedrooms all equipped with full/king and queen size beds each room having a specific one and SMART TVs in all. Downstairs living area includes sofa bed Futon and king. Spacious living area includes a coal/wood stove, flat screen TV's on both floors with free Wi-Fi. French doors going out to the front upper deck viewing Lake Harmony. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Split Rock attractions are just a mile away. Hickory Run State Park 7 miles away. We take great pride in giving families a great family experience to remember forever. We will help our renters with whatever we can. We also include Kayaks for our renters. The place was good but a bit dusty and dog hair here and there. I was given three different addresses which was a bit confusing when we checked in. Host was pretty responsive so any questions I had she was answering it promptly. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils and baking items you could think of.

Had a great trip at Jen's place. The house was even better then the pictures and was very comfortable for 6 of us plus 2 dogs. Right across from the lake with easy access but is down a steep hill which wouldn't be good if someone had mobility issues. We loved all the games, fooball, air hockey, ax throwing, etc. Would definitely stay again.

The house is great, it has all the essentials plus pantry items that most rentals don't include, also linens and towels. The location and view are wonderful, close to several restaurants. The owner communicates almost immediately for questions or problems. Check-in is easy The Wi-Fi signal wasn't always great, but probably a system issue as our cell phones had trouble also. We had a couple minor items that needed to be fixed, one she had fixed immediately, the other we told her could wait, neither affected our stay. Jenn left a gift basket on arrival, and made sure we had a great stay.

This cabin was a wonderful spot for a getaway with several of our close friends. It was a great value, and very accommodating for young children and pets. The cabin itself comes with plenty to do, including a fire pit, kayaks, and a paddle boat, but the area also has several small restaurants and shops within walking distance. Jen and Jeff were very responsive and helpful during our stay as well.
