About this house rental
Charming house, 45m2, in a secure holiday residence, with a garden shaded by an olive tree and oleanders, and a large covered terrace. Parking for a large car on the property. The house has on the ground floor a living room equipped with two 2-seater sofa beds and a flat-screen TV with DVD player, a dining area for 6 people, as well as a fully equipped American kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, Senseo, ceramic hob, oven, microwave oven, extractor hood, freezer, dishes, glasses, cutlery and quality pots and pans for 6 people). Plenty of storage, air conditioning, separate WC and bathroom on the ground floor. The first floor has two independent bedrooms, one with a large double bed and the other with two bunk beds and a pull-out bed. Very efficient storage and fans in both bedrooms. The staircase is protected by a security barrier. The residence has two large swimming pools with paddling pools and children's games, one with slides and water games, a volleyball court, a mini-golf course, a pétanque court, children's play areas . Internet and Wifi throughout the house. The terrace is equipped with a table for 10 people, a barbecue and sunbathing. Garden furniture. Private parking in the garden. Possibility to sleep up to 8 people. Bakery, shops, restaurant, ice-cream parlor at 200m. The 7km long, gently sloping sandy beach, well suited for children, is 500m away. The Canal du Midi, its promenade and its cycle path are 1km away. The surrounding marshes offer beautiful walks (on foot or by bicycle) allowing you to discover exceptional flora and fauna (Flamingos, herons, samphire ...) and very beautiful sunsets. Béziers and Agde train stations, as well as Béziers airport are nearby.

We had a great time with my family, including two kids under 10. The house is very practical, it is fully equipped so that you don't need anything. The two bedrooms are comfortable, bathroom and kitchen have literally everything, plus the small garden in front is great for outdoor dining. The house is located in an enclosed holidays village full of families, close to a great beach and equipped with swimming pool and bar. For a family vacation by the sea, this is perfect. The communications with the owner and the person that helps managing the property have gone very smooth, everyone has been very kind and understanding.

Our kids loved the residence with 2 pools, slides, table tennis, soccer ground and animation. The beach is nearby and nice restaurants if you want to eat out. The house has everything you need, only it could have been cleaner, especially the shower, under the beds and in general in the corners and kitchen cupboards. The owners are available and answer immediately if needed in order to help if needed. Also it was an easy and flexible check in and check out. What we would recommend is a fence or some kind of closure of the front of property because we sometimes felt a bit observed on the terrasse as it is open towards the front. However, this is the case for most houses in the domaine. The surroundings are nice to visit with Carcasonne, several "Gorges" and nice cities.

The house is in a good location but we felt that it was very tired. There is no AC upstairs and it was stifling even with the fans.There was a problem with the electricity and we had an alarming night where our son woke to the sound of crackling and smoke. The socket with the downstairs AC had overheated. It was dealt with very quickly and the lady who looked after the property and her husband were great.There was some sort of ground cover in the garden which meant that there very sharp seeds with long thick thorns which got embedded in our feet. We could not there go barefoot in the house or outside.
