Pay a lot for a ski-in/ski-out condo and walk to everything else or pay less to walk 3 minutes to ski and have direct access to dinner, shopping, fire pits, entertainment, concerts, etc. because it is out the front door of Buffalo Lodge. Heated underground parking and first floor newly remolded ski lockers are conveniences you should not take lightly (it’s no fun packing/unpacking a vehicle in the snow). River Run village is the focal point for night skiing and parade of lights. The village provides so many amenities from restaurants, concerts, shopping, fireworks; it’s simply a vibrant setting. Take the shuttle from the airport because a car is not necessary if you are staying in River Run.
Buffalo Lodge provides the top amenities with a large community room with extra-large flat screen television, large fireplace, two pool tables and two private hot tubs with views of the mountain runs. Buffalo Lodge is also close to the community transportation system that can take you all over Summit County, including the outlet malls.
This condo is headquarters to a winter wonderland. Keystone offers skiing & snowboarding fun from the beginner who needs lessons from Keystone's world class ski school to the extreme skiing experience in the back bowls. Keystone is unique in offering night skiing so you can get more skiing value for your lift tickets. In addition to skiing, you can snowshoe through the Rockies from the river run village, take a snowmobile tour, enjoy the tubing hill or go ice skating (our balcony overlooks the rink).
Summer is an amazing time at Buffalo Lodge as well. Nearby activities such as trout fishing, mountain biking, road biking, hiking, gold mining, hot air ballooning, white water rafting, kayaking, horseback riding, peak climbing, rock climbing, zip lining, jeep tours, paddle boat on the lake, hang gliding, golf, tennis and many more activities will make a week’s vacation fly by. We have installed flat screen televisions and DVD players with Wi-Fi in the family room and each bedroom so you can use your Netflix account to watch your favorite programs. We have newly installed tile and carpet floors and have fresh new bedding and décor to ensure you enjoy your mountain vacation.
