From the moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by stunning landscaping that stretches from the driveway all the way to the expansive 60 ft. dock. Ideal privacy surrounds the property, creating the feeling that you have your very own paradise, complete with a lovely pool, patio, deck, and hot tub. And Sombrero beach is just 0.3 miles away!

We had a great time staying at this property. Joanne was very responsive to our questions about the location before we arrived. There were extra coolers, pool floats, beach chairs, and plenty of beach towels for us to use while we were there. If I had one small criticism, it would be that the kitchen was quite small, but it didn't impact our fun in any way. It was a beautiful location, and the pool was heated to the perfect temperature that we could stay in ALL day. And we did just that! We would go back in a heartbeat to such a wonderful place.

We loved the tropical private back yard. The pool, and tiki hut were our favorites. Enjoyed the dock. We rented kayaks. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Short walk with our dog to Sombrero Beach!

Much to be desired in terms of overall experience. The pool was dirty when we arrived and cleaned later in the evening. The kitchen is really small, has one baking sheet, and not really a sufficiently stocked kitchen. We had to buy a sponge to clean the dishes. This is not really that big of a deal as we knew we’d have to buy additional cleaning products for the length of our stay. It’s just the little things that all add up to make the experience not as good as we had hoped considering the cost of the rental. The sofa bed was broken. Thankfully we had traveled with two cots. Had we not, we would have had kids on the floor. The TVs didn’t have remotes that worked, the towels were worn and tattered and extremely thin. The beds were comfortable but the frames squeaked every time we turned over or moved and all of the fans clicked on even the lowest setting making it impossible to sleep with them on. The dishwasher wasn’t anchored into the countertop and the bottom drawer completely rolled out of the opened door and onto the floor. The dryer made a terrible noise and could not be run at night and as we were leaving we discovered that the hall toilet leaked out of the outside pipe and onto our friends’ car that was parked and charging underneath. Needless to say, I’d recommend anyone considering this rental check with the host to be sure these things have been addressed before spending the money. The space itself is nice (outside of the tight kitchen), rooms were good and the deck and pool/patio space was lovely. We were also about 4 minutes from the beach.
