This listing is for renting the 4BR/3.5 Bath Penthouse and Gaming Suite's together (the top two, best floors).

Our 4 BR Penthouse/Gaming Suite option will set the stage for one of the best locations you can find on Roatan for medium sized group gatherings and family reunions. Everyone stays in the same Villa on 2 separate floors, each with it's own kitchen, bedrooms, baths and living/dining areas.
Gather together for socializing in the very spacious Gaming Level with Billiards, Darts, Games, Stereo, Projector and an expansive covered patio. Retreat to your own private suite when you want to just relax and have private time. For this reason, Turtle Casa's Penthouse/Gaming Suite option is just ideal for people traveling together.
WIFI: If you need to get some work done (or just like staying in touch or streaming) Turtle Casa has upgraded to the highest residential WIFI package available on-island through Fiber Optic cable. We've added a Google Mesh system to reach all corners of the large villa with excellent upload and download speeds as well.
The Villa is located in the Sandy Bay area, away from the commotion and noise of the tourist areas, and at the same time just a short drive to the best areas on the Island for public beaches, restaurants and nightlife. Our property is ideal for the traveler wanting to stay away from the crowds but close to the action. You'll appreciate the quiet at night when you're sitting out on the veranda or swinging in one of our Hammocks, watching the stars and listening to the waves crashing on the reef just offshore.
You couldn't have a better location for Diving, Snorkeling, Kayaking, Fishing, Island excursions to Cayos Cochinos or other exotic locales and Sunset Cruises - the hallmarks of a vacation at Turtle Casa. Our next door neighbor (Capt Tim) shares our expansive dock and runs one of the most popular charter services in Roatan for deep sea/fly fishing, Island Excursions and other remote locations like Pigeon Cay and Sunset cruises. Or slide one of our kayaks down the ramp into the ocean and kayak out to the gorgeous coral reef, just off shore, for some fantastic snorkeling at Roatan's famous dive site, Spooky Channel.
The beach at Turtle Casa is within the protected area of the Roatan Marine Park. As such the shore area and shallows cannot be dredged or cleaned of sea grass and other organic matter. The result is that it is NOT a swimming beach like nearby West Bay and other public beaches, and the sea bottom is squishy and silty. This is why we provide sea kayaks and a beautiful dock for enjoying the water.
What you get at Turtle Casa is gorgeous views, sunsets that will take your breath away and world class diving/snorkeling right from our dock. And when you want that quintessential "Caribbean Beach" experience West Bay is a quick 15 min drive, with quiet and serenity to return to at the end of your day.
Have you always wanted to swim with Dolphins? The world famous Roatan Institute for Marine Science is located within walking distance from Turtle Casa at Anthony's Key. Here you can Snorkel with Dolphins, Dive with Dolphins or even become a 'Trainer for a Day'. An experience you'll never forget!

And then there's Turtle Casa's spectacular deck's overlooking the Ocean; my favorite place to swing in the hammock's every morning with a cup of coffee or watch the unbelievably gorgeous Caribbean sunsets!

The Penthouse Suite, 2BR/2Bath - The top floor of Turtle Casa, THE PENTHOUSE, features wood floors, fine furnishings from Bali and central America, well equipped kitchen with granite counters, a fine dining table for 6, a very large covered veranda with loungers, hammocks, gas grill and an outdoor dining set for 4. This suite is geared for the more discriminating travelers with 2 large Master Bedrooms, each with it's own private master bath. Master Bedroom 1 features a King size bed and master bath with 2 sinks and a beautiful mosaic rock shower with dual "rain" style shower heads. Master Bedroom 2 features a queen size bed and master bath with 2 sinks and a shower/tub combination. The Penthouse is our most sophisticated and luxurious suite, offering spectacular unimpeded sunset and ocean views.
The Gaming Suite, 2BR/1.5 Bath - Gather together for socializing and fun in the very spacious middle Gaming Suite featuring Billiards, Darts, Games, Books, a Projector, Stereo and an expansive covered patio. This suite is all about sharing good times with family and friends! It features a large covered veranda with hammocks, loungers, gas grill and an outdoor dining set for 6. Inside you'll find a fine 6 person dining set, expansive living room/game room with 1/2 bath, full kitchen with all appliances and granite counters, even a wine chiller! The 2 Queen bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Without a doubt, this is where your group will spend most of it's time together and it's got what you need.
(not included in this listing) Beach Suite, 2BR/1Bath - The Beach Suite is the ground level of Turtle Casa and provides our most economical accommodations. It is smaller in size than the Gaming/Penthouse levels as it shares it's floor space with the 2 car garage. But it still provides 2 good size bedrooms (1 queen/1double), a living room/dining room, full kitchen (half sized fridge) with granite counter tops and a full bathroom. It has a large outdoor seating area just a few steps to the Beach with loungers and hammock.

This was the most perfect house we could have rented. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood far from tourists. It is well equipped with everything you need to stay in and cook, which we did several times. The house is 1 door down from The Real Kings & about 4 from The Jolly Octopus (our favorite restaurant in all of Roatan)....perfect location for eating! It was even close enough for us to walk down the beach to Anthony’s Key to dive with the dolphins. We rented the entire house and had plenty of room for 10 people. Everyone loved the pool table & we spent many nights inside playing pool & cards. Throughout the week, we dove with Octopus Dive School (thoroughly recommend). They picked us up and dropped us off everyday at the dock...super convenient.
The reef is directly in front of the house and my family enjoyed the use of the kayaks when exploring it.
Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to visit Turtle Casa again!

My husband and I have stayed at this property every year for the last 5 years. You can see the improvements they have made over time. We have stayed by ourselves, with another couple and with a group up to 16 people. For large groups it is perfect because everyone has their own space but then there is also enough space to gather and relax in the gaming suite. As a couple it is perfect because the area feels safe and not "touristy" even though there are English speakers all around. There is a small store down the dirt road where you can buy 5 gallon bottles of water for the dispenser and snacks, and a small restaurant, Jolly Octopus, that cooks fresh to order, all within a quick walking distance just a few houses down. The balconies on each level offers amazing views of sunsets and sparkling stars, the dock takes you past the turtle grass, and the kayaks are available to explore. You do need to have transportation to get to the grocery store and the tourist areas of West End and West Bay. It isn't a far drive and is perfectly situated between the American style grocery store, Eldon's, in Coxen Hole and the little restaurants of West End, plus a nice water taxi from West End can take you right to West Bay. We have never had to bring anything with us to add to the comfort of the home. The kitchen is nicely stocked, there is a blow dryer, plenty of towels, a washer and dryer and each floor has a safe for valuables. The management company is easily accessible through messaging on WhatsApp. We had a problem with the garage door at one point (there is a locked gate and a garage to park your car) and Liz with the management company responded quickly via WhatsApp.

I stayed at Turtle Casa with friends in April and we had a fabulous time! The home has been extensively updated recently which made the stay even more enjoyable. Very comfortable beds and nice quality linens, towels and pillows (a must for me!). The Penthouse is really sweet and has the feel of a very expensive hotel. The gaming suite was terrific for congregating together and having fun in the evenings. The large covered decks on all levels with loungers and hammocks made mornings and evenings really pleasurable for relaxing and just taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean and sunsets.
We rented a car so having the garage was also a real bonus, keeping our car safe and cool.
Turtle Casa is in a local island neighborhood, away from the tourist areas, and the local people were quite friendly. We enjoyed this aspect as West End and West Bay are quite busy and noisy - lot's of fun for night life and going to the beach during the day, but nice to retire to Turtle Casa in the evening where we could enjoy the peace and quiet of the ocean (there were the occasional local dogs barking, but all in all it is quite peaceful and quiet). All of the activities we were interested in were very close to the house so it was never a big inconvenience to make the short trip to all the places we wanted to see.
All in all I highly recommend Turtle Casa for anyone considering Roatan for their next vacation, particularly if you're interested in snorkeling, diving or fishing. The kayaks were great and the snorkeling out in front of the house was some of the best we found on the island. Diving operators will pick you up right at the dock and the next door neighbor has a fabulous fishing charter as well. His sunset cruise was amazing and all we had to do was walk out the door and get on the boat!
Thanks again for a great trip. We hope to visit the island again and will definitely stay at Turtle Casa!

This house was perfect for our 15 person family reunion this July. We rented all 3 floors. Being right on the water is great - and the docks and porches were used daily. The house itself was big enough for us all - we did use the hide-a-bed couches for sleeping. We cooked nearly all our breakfasts and dinners in the second floor kitchen (and BBQ) and used the other floor's kitchen's refrigerators for storing all the food we ate. After each scuba session, we cleaned up with the outside shower. The house is plenty big for all us to visit, shoot pool, relax, and enjoy the view. We did use the kayaks to snorkel in the reef just beyond the dock (our dive shop took us scuba diving here too). If our family were to return to Roatan, we would definitely make this our first housing choice.
