The views were amazing from the front porch. The house was quiet and so close to Melones beach. Close to downtown. The rooms were spacious and the AC was wonderful. I will definitely be back. The host was quick to respond.

The location of this property is amazing. Fantastic views of the water, Luis Pena and the ferries coming and going.
The one BIG issue we faced the week that we were there was a water shortage. The water cut off every day. Anne ( the property manager) told us about her system of filling up the water jugs underneath the sink. This is what we did so we would have water to clean ourselves when we got home from the beach.
Anne explained that there is a cistern but there is no pump so there is no way for the water to get into the house. I don't think this is an acceptable way for a rental property to handle a chronic water problem on Culebra. The owner should provide a better back up system!! ( i.e. install a pump!)
I gave "cleanliness of property" a 3 star because we found a dead scorpion the day we moved in.
There was a broken tile on the kitchen floor. at the front entrance. we did not enter through that door because we did not want it getting worse.
Also, the shower head was attached with a plastic bag.. we didn't use it much ( lack of water) but I don't think this would stand up to water pressure.
Some nice touches.. beach chairs and snorkeling equipment, but this place definitely needs some more help before it's ready for prime time rental
