On a quiet side street just a short drive south of downtown Surf City’s family-friendly businesses, this updated cottage offers space to hang out inside in the comfortable living area or out on the covered porch. Enjoy listening to the ocean waves as they crash on the beach in hearing distance of this charming bungalow. The nearby restricted beach access is a short walk away in sight of the house. Surf City’s Family Park on the sound side complete with a walking pier over the marsh, picnic area, basketball court, and children’s playground is just a block away.

We had a great time at Sassy Seahorse. The location was perfect - a quick walk across the street to the beach and close to plenty of restaurants and shops. The house had everything we needed for our 10 day stay.

We stayed here with our four children, and didn’t have a single issue. Check-in was simple, the place was clean and stocked, and we all had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great here. The beach access was very close to walk to and the playground and pier by the intercoastal waterway were close as well. And it was a short drive or longer walk to everything else in Surf City.

Easy to rent and check in. Old gross sponge and scrub brush. 1 sharp knife. 1 knife with broken tip. Dirty rag in master bath. Master bedroom mattress old and very soft. Really?
