Treat yourself to sunny mountain living near the lake when you stay in this spacious, two-bedroom South Lake Tahoe home with a deck.

Located in the quiet Pioneer Trail neighborhood, this home is about seven miles from the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Summer travelers will enjoy jet skiing, water skiing, and fishing on the water, as well as hiking, biking, and golfing on land. In the winter, do some sledding, tubing, or snowshoeing at Camp Richardson or Adventure Mountain. And of course, for world-class downhill skiing and boarding, make your way to Heavenly Mountain Resort, a short eight miles away, or Squaw Valley, 39 miles away.

Get cozy inside in the winter with a warming wood stove, cable and DVR service, and HBO, Showtime, and Netflix streaming. There's a 43-inch 4K Smart TV with a DVR in the living room, a 43-inch 4K Smart TV in the master bedroom, and a 42-inch HDTV in the second bedroom. Use the free WiFi to look for directions, and in the summer, hang out on the deck while you read a book, sip on a beverage, and bask in your lovely forested surroundings. You'll also have a private washer/dryer for your added convenience.

The 6 of us enjoyed our stay. The house is close (15 mins) to Sierra, but, thankfully, not close enough to have to deal with the noise or traffic. The steps/ramp got pretty slippery at night due to melting snow during the day. Better to go through the garage. There was plenty of blankets and pillows. The “fireplace” was off limits, so that was kind of a bummer. Also, while the inside of the house was nice and clean, the outside trash can was full when we got there. Luckily we didn’t create to much trash and were able to fit it all in before we left.Aside from these minor issues, I’d definitely stay there again. It’s a great spot for a get away.

Everything was great, with the exception of one annoyance the second night, the alarm kept beeping all night.

Easy to check in is always a plus for our family as sometimes we get to our destinations a little late. All the information we needed was given prior to our arrival. It was super clean and had the essentials. The internet went down the last night I was there so that was a little bummer especially since I was in the middle of a movie. It never came back up until we checked out. Property management was responsive with our needs - it was easy to just chat or call them if there were any issues.
